Darcon. I'm honestly so happy to see such a young person being such high level of spiritual consciousness. When I was 16, I was quite lost myself -
being deluded by egoes and temptations of modern world. I always knew however, that somehow I seemed able to understand spiritual things more than
people around me - but I subdued it, I didn't believe in it. I indeed became very profane and went with the crowd. I regret that I did, but I cannot
alter the past. Maybe that even taught me something... I sure did know how to hate. I was full of hate in one point of my live; And now that I've
healed myself, I've come to notice how harmful the hatred was for me. I became physically weak, got often ill and didn't had much energy - but when
I felt bursts of hatred, I seemed to gain energy from that. But it was different energy and it did harm my physical body, as well as my spirit.
But thank the universe, I became to understand that Love is indeed the way to go. I guess I've been on the dark side as to say; and I personally has
been a demon in hell (metaphorically speaking). It took me about 10 years to heal from this, and I still sometimes have trouble to constrain my
anger.
I indeed like to believe that you must be an older spirit, like you self put it. Maybe you have body of 16 yrs old, but your spirit must be old of
aeons

Have you ever had memories that you can't remember being part of your modern life?
Aren't you 17 by the way?

You know, I have found it extremely hard to embrace the concept of mediation. Once in a great while I will achieve a purely meditative state and they
are beautiful, but for the most part I have had to accept that meditation is just usually not my cup of tea. Really, if meditation costs you more
energy than it grants to you, or if you consider it a chore to even find the time to do so, then find other ways to embrace your spirituality.
Yes, very well said. If meditation isn't your thing, try to find another. Very good suggestions for that in your post too
I personally had find the way of yoga to be my way, that includes meditation. It also have had tremendous effect on body, it has become more flexible
and many of my former pains are gone. But doing this or that, I guess the most important of all is beginning to realize oneself - to know yourself.

what are some easy ways to meditate?
Merely take a good pose, so that your body doesn't bother you in anyway. Then just empty your mind, try not thinking and try be "doing nothing".
Breathe slowly through your nose by rhythm of your heart beat - then when you have gained feeling of calmness and it is easy for you to just be still
without thinking or doing anything, you have gained meditative state and you can then concentrate to things more precisely.
Great thread, it's still alive and collecting good replies. I think I might just save it for future studying.
