Honestly, I haven't noticed anything unusual in the sense of military activity. Between the Airforce Academy, Ft. Carson, Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, and NORAD, there has always been lots of activity with jets and helicopters flying over as long as I can remember. As far as weird vibes go, the city has been expanding rapidly especially up north and east. As the population increases coupled with the diverse amounts of people returning from Afghanistan and Iraq, we are bound to get a lot weirdos lol.
As far as "America the Beautiful" goes, it's honestly just a circular hunk of scrap metal in the middle of a park. I personally have not had any sense of anything mystical emanating from it.
PS: If anything has been unusual it's the weather. We had no spring, and winter was like summer. Now it's hot and I want my thunderstorms back! We finally had one yesterday so I'm hoping it will become a pattern.
