On Monday, France began a 10-day joint military exercise with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, the first such war games ever. As Iran increases in power, and America is increasingly seen as an unreliable ally, we can expect certain Arab states to look more and more to Europe.

...And Iran, Hezbollah, and Syria on the other, with Russia possibly the wildcard if things go regional. (Don't forget Russian bomber flights near US aircraft carriers.)

The person that wrote that don't have a clue. Israelis are despised among most of Europe and they know that. The U.S. will always have the back of Israel. France is the only European country that will back Israel when push comes to shove. Germany is friendly now because they feel bad for what they did to the Jews however that wont last.
The part where they say that Japan is getting friendly with China made me laugh out loud. Japan said today that they would seriously think about dismissing their non aggression pact to respond to any military action taken by China over Taiwan.

The US will be forced to go "Non-Interventionist" very soon due to its financial collapse so it being an unreliable Ally is an accurate assertation, how ever it has the largest Nuclear Arsenal and should always be considered "ready" to use it as they are the only ones to have dropped nukes before.
