One Thing...Just One Thing to Bring Us Into the Future

I'm just curious about what other people on here would say to this.

Let's say that whoever becomes president next (hopefully Obama) has to put all of the tax money into just ONE thing. What do you feel that ONE thing should be?

Getting the troops out?
Keeping them in?
Fighting crime?
Education?
Getting rid of some establishment (IRS, Federal Reserve)?
Illegal immigration?
Medicare?
Technology?
The space program?
Economy?
Foreign affairs?
Homeland Security?
Poverty?

Me, I think I'd have to go with education. I think this would help us evolve as a society, and help in the long run with basically everything else on that list. It would be a longer wait, but I do feel that if everyone was more educated, things would get done, and things would be better overall.

What do you guys think?

Picking one from your list, I would have to go with education also. It seems to me that everything else on the list would fall into place after that.

I do have a question though. What is "Getting rid of some establishment?"
This one has me baffled. What do you mean?

All those things could use an infusion of cash, so I would prefer to see the funds distributed equally, with the exception of "keeping troops in", and the one you listed that I am questioning.

I guess I was thinking more along the lines of getting rid of the Federal Reserve or the IRS.

Sorry, I guess I came up short for a better term. Hope that clears it up a bit.
