Why the cylindrical UFO footage from the MIG is important

It accelerates to mach 3 within 10 seconds
(proof of technology far surpassing our own)

Wouldn't this have killed or debilitated any humans onboard this craft?

This is a cylinder (not aerodynamic) making aerial maneuvers impossible for even our fastest and most aerodynamic aircraft (also proof of an advanced technology far surpassing our own).

Last year, on September 5, 2003, while at the Goodwood Revival Festival,
Anderson captured on tape a very unusual incident during the aircraft display. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, an unknown flying object with a strange shape and flight characteristics flew right in front of two airplanes causing immediate worry and a dangerous risk of collision.

SIMON : " I made a discovery in the sky when filming the Goodwood festival and old aircraft display.
Just two old aircraft were flying; facing north-south when filming.
A fast object shot past the aircraft I was very amazed then trying to keep
filming as it went up into the clouds.
Then it went off to the south towards Portsmouth. I am interested in aircraft filming them for years at displays but never seen this thing before. "
Simon, a 29 years old from West Sussex was filming the event with a JVC Hi-8 PAL camcorder . The time was 1:35 PM and the sky was clear. After several days Simon contacted me asking for advice and sent me a VHS copy of the footage.
I must say that I got impressed by the images and the unique moment when two airplanes confronted a disc shape object in a maneuver that may have resulted in a dangerous risk of collision.
The quality of the footage is crystal clear with zooms to both the aircrafts and the UFO. The first images present two old war airplanes, one british and one american flying in formation and making a turn from left to right. Simon kept filming the airplanes and a few seconds later a strange unknown brownish object, round in shape appeared in the scene passing by from right to left close to the airplanes at certain moderated speed.

I think you haven't read through analyses made by other experts. There are more detailed and conclude that they CANNOT be oil rigs!

So let's not jump to conclusions just because a couple of so called 'experts' have concluded that they ARE oil rigs! They are not! Please read the many other analyses that have shot down this oil-rig theory.

What looks to me to be a typical Meier Beam ship taken from a German private pilot flying a small Cessna in the Big Bear Mountain area ..... to me this looks just like the wood pile beam ship not sure if it is a PS job or not. Wankers at UFOEVIDENCE wouldn't give me the pilots e-mail address so I could do some research on the shot..

"Hallo, just found your Website. We were on a trip over Big Bear Mountain on 27 May 2004, California in a small Cessna plane, when we encountered this incredibla aircraft. I don't know if is something from the closeby military bases, but I managed to take picture of it. Unfortunetely only one, when we flew towards it (crazy, when I think about it now!), it dissapeared. Hi, we wear taking a trip in a Cessna airplane, we took of of Big Bear airport and just flew around in the area a little bit. The landscape was stunning, as you can see on the fotos.. Thats why I had my camera ready, I was taking pictures the whole time..We were three person in the plane: the pilot, a friend and me. I was sitting in the back of the plane and saw the 'aircraft' last. My buddies saw it earlier and pointed it out to me. I was the only one with a camera thoug. I didn't see any movement, I looked away for a moment (fingering with my camera, all excited..) when I looked again it was gone. My friends said it dissapeared to the right (I think east) quite quickly. They told me, the shape of the xobject differered when seen from the side, making it a bit more longer, but didn't resemble any aircraft they knew (and they're both airplane geeks...). Other than that nothing happened, I'm afraid. Some info about myself: I'm 36 years old, live in Germany and was on vacation!
in California. I'm working as a manager in a small realestate company. My friend was a collegue from work. The pilot I don't know much about. His name was Jeff, I think. We chartered the plane back in Los Angeles and he came with it..

I read all of the thread quickly, and I'm fairly sure this hasn't been mentioned. (sorry if it has).

But the 3rd picture in the original set, and the 3 frames following, look eerily similiar to the hoax video of the light fixtures in that Mall in the middle East that has the ceiling painted like the sky.

Here is a link to the thread with the video. The OP thought it was authentic, only until the second page was it debunked, the cameraman, reveals his illusion on another site(which there is a link to on the second page of the thread posted below).

Good thread btw. the 2nd picture is crazy if it's real. I don't even know what to make of the 1st picture either. So good thread as usual mikeS, but I think this is the match to the 3rd picture here in the thread above.

(Also remember you have to watch the entire videos to see the parts of the video I think the screencaps were taken. One I think occurs a little after 1 minute in the original posters video, then there's other strikingly similiar ones after that, and later in the video, where the sky in the backround (which again is a painted ceiling of a mall) looks almost exactly like the stills of the 3rd picture in your OP, and the subsequent other Screencaps posted later.

Captain Bill Startup piloted an Argogy freighter, with Bob Guard as co-pilot. • The first sighting began on December 21 when the crew of a cargo plane noticed a series of lights that tracked along with their aircraft for several minutes and then disappear, only to appear some where else.

• When the aircraft reached about 2000 feet, it encountered a gigantic lighted orb, which fell into station off the wing tip and tracked along with the cargo aircraft for almost quarter of an hour, while being filmed, watched, tracked on the aircraft radar and described on a tape recording made by the TV film crew.
• Following the sightings, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the police and the Centre Observatory in Wellington cooperated in an investigation, the results of which were stamped Top Secret and lodged in the National Archives in Wellington.

You're right, there's a resembleance between the two:

but keep in mind that the sighting of the OP took place on 2001, while UFO Dubai HOAX, if i'm correct, took place on 2007: anyway, it's a vague resemblance, they are not exact matches, IMHO.

I wish to ask: that looks to be a screenshot from a video: where did you find it?

If it was a 1:1 framerate video, then it looks to be an incredibly quick
movement, that one...

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have watched this video footage which is extremely clear to watch. I personally am amazed at what I am looking at on this tape. This object moves so fast, yet can stop of a dime and again from a dead stop move again at an incredible rate of speed. It is like it never stopped moving. I would suggest this footage is a must see.



1. - UFO & Jet Airliner - I received an email from my friend who told me in his letter that he caught an amazing unknown object on film and he wanted to send me a copy of the footage he took. Of course I said I would love to see the tape, so he parceled it up and sent it along. I received the video tape in the postal mail on Saturday, May 29, 2004. I brought it home and popped the tape into my VCR, sat back to see what the gentleman had captured on May 15, at 4:46 p.m. As the tape
started to play I saw a passenger Jet Airliner traveling across the sky leaving it's contrail following behind. All of a sudden from high above I was able to clearly see a white or a shiny object. The object started to move downwards at an incredible rate of speed and when it reached just above the Jets contrail it came to a brief and complete stop. The object then either passed through the Jets contrail or on the opposite side away from the cameraman still continuing it's journey downward. The object again stops on a dime, keeping in mind that when this object moves it is traveling extremely fast. After this brief stop the object moves towards the back of the Jet, moving diagonally on it's flight path and once again at a distance from the jet it stops briefly and then starts it's flight back up through the contrail and traveling to a great altitude.

2. - Disc Shaped Craft - Taped for 7-10 minutes. The same witness captured what appears to be the same object on May 17, 2004 at 4:27 p.m. and ends up filming the object for approx; 7 to 10 minutes.

3. - Strange Aircraft All Lit Up. - On May 18, 2004 at 10:54 p.m. the same
witness captured on video what appears to be an aircraft of some kind. Not a UFO, but a normal aircraft. What is rather strange about it is the number of lights that is on the plane. There are lights all over the plane.

First I searched KaiKoura ufo, dont found the picture.
Then after a considerable time I thought lets searching with New Zealand ufo, and bingo.

The video’s from Mark A. Olson, Sonora, are all astounding:
I first came to know of this guy from I thought the film “Visitors California Ufo Wave.
But I go check that.

Also the films of Jeff Willes from Phoenix are absolute amazing, I advise you to look at it if you want, I have two DvDs of him, and they are really very interesting.

It is also in my opinion no plane, and the lack of some reference makes it difficult to see of it moves.
But it looks very much on this one, but this one flies horizontal and you have some clouds for a better impression.
