concerning U2U's

every time I login my U2U button is illuminated brown
like I have a new message, however when I click on
it to see my messages, there are no new ones to view.
But on the U2U list page, the brown button is NOT
illuminated but when I go back to the forum board,
it turns brown again as if I got another message.
frankly it's getting annoying.

Is this a glitch in the system or am I doing something
entirely wrong?

Sometimes I notice that the new message isn't bold anymore. But when I click on the top message, it is new. FYI

Aye. It's a glitch. There's probably one (or several) U2Us that are showing as 'read' but registering as not. You can either flush your inbox to solve this or try to track down the one buggy message and kill it.

Yeah, it's a glitch. Improper capitalization. My user name is "intrepid" but when someone sends one to "Intrepid" this happens. All you have to do is delete or save it and it goes away.

I have noticed the same.
Also I cannot seem to compose a new u2u nor can I respond to any I have received.
Is anyone else aware of this problem?
I know ATS is working on fixing the `posts button being gone' problem but is this another issue pertaining to ATS as a whole?

The best solution I've seen so far is to save or delete all the messages in your in box but also delete or save all the ones in your sent box.
Everyone is allowed to save about 50, but a few points at the ATS store will let you save any you want.

I clicked on the top message (not bold anymore)
but clicked it anyway, read the message and clicked
out and it went away. Geez, I'll have to remember
that lil trick from now on.

Now I have a new problem.
I was able to alleviate my last problem of not being able to compose an email as suggested by another member that I delete mail from my inbox. This solved the situation and thank you for your help.
However, now it seems, my u2u button is gone. It is totally non-existent.
Is this widespread, or again, just me?

The U2U button only shows up if you have a new unread U2U. Otherwise you can access it through the MemCenter button.
