That's nothing. The Senate just voted down all updates to FISA that protected the privacy of Americans, including making sure FISA wasn't used to target Americans and making sure FISA was the ONLY spying bill that bypasses the court and allows the President to make the call on who gets surveilled.

We have no privacy anymore and the government watches everything. Whether or not you're innocent (or even have the right to be PRESUMED innocent anymore) is irrelevant.

1984 is a great novel by George Orwell.
Realmatrix, you are totally correct, but it would be impossible to rapidly evolve technologicaly and yet maintaining all our freedoms.
Nukes will be made by individuals in the future just as now explosives can be made by school kids.
Add to this "cyborgisation", DNA manipulation capabilities...
Humanity will change and lose a lot more then certain freedoms. I'm really concerned about our race becoming Humanoid "ants". In social structure, i meen.

I believe thats the basic idea these monsters are working towards. property doesn't think for itself and property doesn't decline orders

Like on of the previous posters mentioned, this is going to happen over time and in small doses, so small the we just let it fly right over our skulls. Most people won't care, they just want to get on with their lives, get more money and provide for their families; me included, although i am becoming more aware of political and potential realities and it's hard not to be a little worried about what might come to pass in the following years!

The plan is carried out in steps so slow that it goes unnoticed by the masses. its called the "great work of ages" and these people traumatize their own children at a young age to make them disassociate and cease feeling any emotion at all to prevent any traitors. they have essentially set up a cycle of humans mind controlling humans and that is the secret behind how they have kept it so hidden for so long. these days they can combine hypnosis and drugs to create a completely loyal slave that works through split personalities and commits suicide if the programming is undone. these people could have been forgiven for dominating others through violence as it seems to be the nature of many species but doing such a thing to another persons mind steps over the line and any hope of them ever being forgiven on their day of reckoning vanished when they started using such disgusting methods. the suffering of this lifetime is unpleasant but the suffering of eternity will be unbearable

to paraphrase benjamin franklin those who would give up some of there personal liberty for a sense of security deserve niether . in my opinion this is avery slippery slope we are currently on soon a national id system will be in effect and thats just the tip of the iceberg

Yep Kinda like the Tom Cruise movie " Minority report" where poeple are arrested before they actually enact a crime by the 'Thought Police." It's closer than ever...I agree
