hey everyone,
So it seems like the anthrax attacks following 9/11 have been pretty much forgotten. I would think most people agree that there was something
"weird/strange" about them from the start. Did the investigation ever determine if they were related to 9/11? I know they had a suspect at one
point but there were never any charges. It seems odd there were never any charges.
Personally i always thought that the idea of biological weapons through the mail was more of a credible threat that most of what the current
administration carts out, dirty bombs, suitcase nukes etc.
Was it just an attempt to justify and set up some of reasons for a future invasion (at the time) of iraq? Hey were getting attacked with bioweapons
.....well iraq has WMDs lets invade them.......

Last I heard, the FBI determined the strain to be of US origin. There are only a few highly secure labs with weaponized anthrax that would be suitable
for use so quickly. This raised the obvious questions about who had access, and why wasn't a breach of security ever detected. We know where this is
going, and why it was hushed up.
Looking at who it was sent to, it appeared to be a "warning shot" to anyone in the US Government who dared to talk about 9/11.
It is thought that charges were dropped as an investigation would have to ensue in order to secure a conviction, which would obviously be very bad
considering the FBIs findings on the source of the anthrax used.
I think this holds the answer to the "who" behind 9/11. You don't just mail anthrax to someone high-up in government office without a serious
man-hunt for the perpetrator(s), unless such an investigation could reveal something much darker.
A good starting point would be to look at who could stop such an investigation?
EDIT TO ADD: Great thread by the way, and one of the better ones in a while. Starred and flagged!

They again showed there complete ignorance in thinking that it would not be tracked back to there own sources.
Remember all the comotion, the media were on it like a bull to a red flag. HUGE headlines, "muslim terrorists" were behind it, the writing was
written "by someone that couldn't write Englisg properly", more proof for warmongering propaganda. Yet when it was found out it was from US
sources, this story was dropped faster than ANY terror related story from that time.
Was btw the anthrax issue touched on in the Comission Report into 911? Was anyone ever caught and charged for the crime?
Why was the story dropped? How could any honest news reporter not get to the bottom of that crime?

I certainly do (even over here). I think it was in the news all of two days, then just dropped. No mention has been made of it since, that I'm aware
of (ever?).

I was thinking about the Anthrax the other day. Odd how it was big news, then nothing.
Odd. But understandable when you find out where it came from. Then it makes sense why it was shut down as a story. However, I feel it did push us
closer to a Police State, and probably increased support for the Patriot Act.
Government made Anthrax, that was taken with proper security clearance and sent out to Americans, is big news. Too big for us lowly citizens to
understand. So they killed the story. Almost as if it was a story that turned out to be fake, when it wasn't.
It seems to me that media has failed us, again. How many more times can they fail us?
Why don't people see this disappearance of the Anthrax from headlines as something darker? A sign of corruption?
I guess Britney Spears' world tour news is more important to us.

A star and a flag for this thread. We are going to need history books about what happened these past 8 years. My opinion is that "someone" got
over confident and wanted to add fuel to the fire. This someone may have been a great microbiologist but not so good at framing "an arab". The
investigation, or rather the reporting on it, was halted/obfuscated/slowed because it came too close to revealing our chemical warfare efforts. I
believe chemical warfare is banned (by who?).
side note:
I believe after the Bush presidency in 2009, elements within the Bush administration will be charged with war crimes and an effort will be made to
take them to trial in the Hague. This is why they (Bush et al.) wrote the rule about no US person being tried for war crimes.
Bush and company will NOT retain power. Every government employee takes an oath to protect the United States against all enemies, foreign AND
domestic.

The idea that the attacks were a "warning shot" to keep individuals from raising questions in addition to the "war mongering" is an intriguing
idea i hadn't thought of.
According to wikipedia
www.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_anthrax_attacks
The atacks resulted in:
5 Deaths
17 infections
over 1 BILLION dollars in cleanup.
This is a HUGE story that has been completly forgotten/ignored. Its like it never even happened.

Thanks for reminding us of this. The anthrax attack was and is definitive evidence of the nine-eleven conspiracy.

The fact that the strain of anthrax was US goverment issued weapons grade bioweapon sent a very strong message to dissenters within the government.
Also oddly enough the Whitehouse and Dick Cheney's staff began taking Cipro (the antidote to anthrax) a week prior to the first attack Hmmmm

Those are my thoughts, too. The anthrax was mailed to the offices of democratic senators Daschle and Leahy, who were (at the time) the biggest
dissenters of the PATRIOT Act, which the White House was still pushing hard for it so soon after 9/11. If I'm not mistaken the 7/7 attacks also
occurred during a key decision period for renewing British "anti-terror" laws.

Here is a quote from the article dated Oct 23, 2001. "At least some White House personnel were given Cipro six weeks ago"
Let's count back six weeks...that would be approx Sept 11 2001.
"Let me put it this way," Bush said. "I'm confident that when I come to work tomorrow, I'll be safe."
Asked if he was tested for the germ that has killed three people already this month, or if he was taking precautionary antibiotics, Bush replied
simply: "I don't have anthrax."
At least some White House personnel were given Cipro six weeks ago. White House officials won't discuss who might be receiving the anthrax-treating
antibiotic now.
On the night of the Sept. 11 attacks, the White House Medical Office dispensed Cipro to staff accompanying Vice President Dick Cheney as he was
secreted off to the safety of Camp David, and told them it was "a precaution," according to one person directly involved.

On the conspiracy side we have Jerome Hauer:
"Jerome Hauer's connections with terror and counter-terror started with and concentrated on biological warfare, but they don't stop there.
On September 11, 2001, in addition to his job with the NIH, Jerome Hauer was also Managing Director of Kroll Associates, a well-established security
firm serving clients in the military and the US government. In the 1980s, Kroll was known as the "CIA of Wall Street" because of the sorts of the
people it hired, and the sorts of tasks they were assigned.
Strangely, perhaps, on 9/11, Kroll was in charge of security for the entire World Trade Center complex.
The head of security at the WTC on September 11, 2001, was former FBI counter-terror specialist John P. O'Neill.
O'Neill, considered the world's leading expert on Osama bin Laden, had resigned his post as Deputy Director of the FBI during the summer, very
unhappy with the Bush administration's head-in-sand "approach" to terror, after investigations into Osama bin Laden and al-Q'aeda had been
blocked."
Jerome Hauer was responsible for John O'Neill's brand new assignment at the World Trade Center.
His first day of work was Sept 11 2001. He died in the attacks.

Of all the possible biological weapons that could have been used they were given the antidoe for the specific one used in the following
weeks. Seems pretty obvious someone knew it was going to happen.
WOW, i wasnt familiar with the Kroll-Hauer-O'neil connection. That is interesting.....to say the least.
Yesterday a federal judge began to fine a reporter named Toni Locy for not revealing her sources . She was the person who named Steven Hatfill as a
suspect in the attacks after being given the info from military personel. I believe a journalist has the right to not reveal thier sources, but she
isnt saying she wont reveal them she is saying she can't remember. Its very suspect.

I've read a book a about this called Amerithrax. No conspiracy book or anything, all above board with no wild allegations. Basically the official
line is that it was an american with access to top level clearance who released the anthrax to let people know how vulnerable we are.
Bit of a stretch I suppose.
Definitely amercian Anthrax tho, the strain came from a Texan cow. And definitely weaponised in the US of A. Also extremely professionally done. No
trace whatsoever, they can pick up DNA from breath on a bit of paper, however not in this case. As the guy who did it was aware of this(Not exactly
common knowledge is it?). Stamps were bought from a machine and even the sticky tape used was very common to stop it being identified.
Seems far too professional to be a disgruntled employee trying to save us from an attack by doing an attack.
No one is gonna be blamed for this, Like put options it will be forgotten.
