hmmm, then this is me, I guess..

When will the rounds start? I would like to compete, but I'm on vacation from 20 february until 28 february. There is some time between the different matches, so maybe I can be in last match of the first round?

The rounds will start before the start of next week.

It will be a 16 member knockout comp. So 8 debates first round then 4, 2 and finally the title fight. I'm as yet undecided whether to split the first round and start 4 debates at a time instead of all 8 at once. I'm leaning towards starting all 8 at once but I'm curious as to what the participants think.

Anyone have any strong feelings one way or the other?

I will be gone the 20th through the 23rd, but have no conflicts past then.

What is the turn around time on replies? - for those of us who work, this is a critical issue.

Same as it was for the last few skirmishes. 18 hours I think.

Will make an intro post tomorrow sometime that explains how the tournament will work. I pretty much have all the topics chosen already, just need one more contestant to step into the ring then I will start to get the wheels turning.
