Mars contains water above and below including water under pressure from the subsurface.

Tiny silver cylindrical tanks were discovered by Sojourner assumed to be water tanks for the Sandmaries, tiny tiny humanoid lifeforms on Mars.

Mars temperatures are higher then we have been told.

Multitudes of life forms exist on the surface as well as below the surface on Mars.

Viking Lander missions actually discovered biological lifeforms.

Mars contains cities, statues and monuments new and old including ancient.

The secret space program have bases underground on Mars.

Mars is being mined for minerals.

These are the reasons why only a few will survive if something like this was to happen then this is why the governments fear disclosing this publicly. Look at yourselves first then realize that you have to save you from yourself before anyone else can give you information or assist in saving you. Not saying that we need saving, since each one of us so smart, right?

Even if this isn't true, at least lets learn something from it.
