Or it the two "bads" could cancel each other out leaving us great!

I view that statement as a sick, sick comment, by someone who is obviously racist themselves.
It is sad that such hatred (even speculative) is being propogated by a thread such as this.
Sick and sad...

I was actually going to start a thread about this very subject. Not based upon the article provided but simply that of personal opinion. He seems to
be a decent human being, with real morals and standards, and I don't see him lasting very long in our government. I want him to be president, but if
he doesn't maintain the status quo of corruption I can see him quickly going out JFK style. The problem for any would be assassins that currently
work for our government is that it would be extremely difficult for any citizen to have snowball's chance in hell of doing it themselves. If he is
elected president, and he does end up getting assassinated, I believe it will be very clear who is the culprit to the average American, and it sure as
hell won't be one of us civilians.

And when we hear of these things it is just so impossible to not see the conspiracy involved. It seems to me that people who suggest otherwise don't

discredit even asking the questions.

I agree.
I think to solve the issue he should have a black VP and cabinet and staff or what have you, so that in order to remove the dreadful notion of a black

Seriously though people need to get over themselves. She just sounds like a Clinton supporter with an age-old mentality. She uses the mask of concern

feel their future kids may potentially be treated. Hilarious!

I think Clinton & Obama hav a pretty good shot at being assassinated. Obama because he is black and Hill because she is a woman. I think the
assassination of Hill would be a perfect false flag. Terrorists don't approve of women in power so it would be easy to convince the sheeple of
America that the terrorists did it.

I'm more betting on they(Gov, etc.) won't allow him to get to be president. That with an assassination before hand if they need to do it. Maybe
even the same with Hilary.

My earlier post seems to have been lost in the latest rhetoric...
Everyone, please, take a deep breath, and relax. Ths discussion, while well within the confines of the First Amendment, is nevertheless about to trip
down a slippery slope.
I am not an attorney, of course...just concerned.
The Internet is not private...perhaps I am being too worried here, but I have already pointed out that in the current political climate, here in the
US, one must be careful (I accidentally, at first, wrote 'czarful' there!! I corrected it, but it was so funny I thought I'd pass it
along....).
I know, this is serious business...but sometimes an injection of humor can't hurt.

I posted on a similar thread not too long ago and would like to echo what I said there.
I for one am truly worried for Obama and his safety with concern to this issue.
Up until recently I`ve never seriously considered voting for him, nothing to do with his race, but more to do with me disagreeing with a lot of his
policies.
But as time goes on it becomes more apparent on how much of an honorable individual he is.
What sticks out most is his refusal to take money from lobbyists, and I think at this point in time in America this is a top issue. As the big
corporations dole out the cash to whatever politician they want in their pocket, laws are created and bills are signed only to put forth the best
interests of the very wealthy and already powerful so unscrupulous people and organizations.
Obama believes in change, change for America to get back to a government that serves its people and not just a small minority of business owners.
Theres nothing wrong with being rich especially if you have made it all by yourself, but there is plenty wrong with getting richer by holding others
back in regards to job outsourcing and companies beating the tax system by moving over seas.
Like I said, I don`t even agree with him on many issues, number one in my mind is his desire to end the war without regard for repercussion. (I don`t
want to argue that view here, theres other forums for that.) But even so, I can`t seem to see the truth and honesty in any of the other candidates as
I see in him. It makes me realize, maybe he understands a lot of the conspiracies and is just ever too smart to ever bring them up. He could be
waiting to be elected so that he can actually do something about certain issues that he knows he cannot speak about due to safety concerns.
All in all I believe it is the power elite, the Rothschilds and the Hilderberg group and many other very wealthy and powerful organizations and
individuals that will not want Obama in power. Obama cannot be bought, he is an honorable man with an agenda and he will seek it to its full
potential. He won`t make any deals with corporations, he will do what he thinks is best for the American people and this I`m starting to realize is
more important than any issues we may disagree on. I`d rather elect someone I trust but don`t necessarily agree with then someone who seems as if they
are what I want but turn out to be screwing me behind my back.
I honestly think most people these days are past the racism and can see past a persons skin color especially when it comes to such an important
decision as this. Its not the rednecks who are going to be after Obama, its the ones who lurk in the darkness, the ones who have had the most
influence on our government for a long time now. It is those with other plans for America that don`t include the best interests of all Americans, it
is those powerful people that will be out to if they already arent, to get Obama.
He can`t be bought, and they do not like that!

I am a registered independent. And I will NOT NOT NOT vote for Obama. He has no experience. And face it, we need someone with experience to
confront the problems that the United States is facing.
If Clinton ran I would vote for her...not for her marvelous amount of experience but because of Bill Clinton's. I think Hillary will be decent, but
Bill will be the chief advisor and can repair a lot of damage that was enacted.
Obama is nice...but not only do I not want a president named: Barack Hussein Obama. But I do not want a president who holds up signs that says
"Change" without explanations.

Obama is first candidate in a very long time that large numbers of people are actually voting for him. Most people do not vote for
candiates, they fill in the bubble next to the name of the candidate that is slighly less repulsive than the other horrible candiates.
That being said, Obama could potentially be a powerful and influential president due to his popularity . Powerful and influential presidents for
better or for worse, will inevitably harm the interests of powerful people as they push their agenda forward. This makes these presidents prime
assasination targets.

csulli,
Hear hear!
I, too, do not fully stand behind Senator Obama, but my only complaint is an impression that he may wish to scale back Space Exploration
plans....pretty odd, for a Democrat, given his latest boost from the Kennedys...but there ya go! A person can achieve office, get new info, and
change their views.....
Mr. Obama seems to represent, his lack of support for Space notwithstanding, the best new direction for the USA in a long time.
As pointed out by the OP of this thread, there seem to be chilling parallels to what Mr. Obama says, and what RFK said...not sure that the OP actually
made that link, in so many words, but has occurred to me. I sincerely hope that History does not repeat, 40 years on...that would be a terrible
tragedy.
My two cents....

Have you ever asked yourself why people like him? I guarantee you it isn't his views on the economy. Has he even spoken about the economy...But
he's black, can dance, has pearly whites, and doesn't like the Iraqi war...oh and he's for change.
He has my vote.

you obviously didn't put very much thought in my post. No where in my post did I imply that the gov't is sexist and racist.
And as far as me getting a life.... Please stick to the subject at hand instead of trying to insult me. Thanks.

Well I see since I don`t share your political views I am a shallow person who would like Obama because he is black can dance and has pearly whites.
That is a bit racist I suspect.
The man is honorable in not giving in to lobbyists. That should be just as important if not one of the most important issues in this day and age
regardless of hi skin color.
I can`t say I`m looking for the same kind of change as most who support him but I see his honesty none the less and to me that is very important.
Hate him because he is black all you want, but if you do it will only prove your own ignorance. It is time to get past such shallowness as judging
someone on skin color or even their name.
