US warns Iran AGAIN for recently advancing enrichment

A top US envoy warned Iran Friday that its pursuit of more advanced uranium-enriching technology would intensify the long-running international standoff over its disputed atomic drive.

"Any Iranian attempt at a more advanced centrifuge would be an escalation of Iran's ongoing non-compliance with its obligation to suspend all enrichment-related activities," the US ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Gregory Schulte, told AFP.

"While we have no information on the technical nature of any new Iranian centrifuge, we assume the purpose of testing is to increase Iran's potential enrichment capacity," the ambassador said.

Ass-u-me?

Man oh man. How can one assume at a time like this when the whole world is on the edge of their seats?

Shouldn't we be waiting until the IAEA makes an assessment rather than using anything they can to keep building this case against Iran?

Putin in a recent discussion said they were entirely comfortable with the way Iran is developing its program, and that there is no reason to deny them the right to nuclear energy.

Man what a mess.
