So, if Britney kills herself, say, next year or this year, what will be next for the media and paparazzi?

Who are they going to replace Britney in media's & paparazzi's spotlight?

Not a fan of her, but just wondering.

What you think?

If i was her, i would stick my two fingers upto them, leave america with her family, and don't live there anymore.

She and her family should learn from what happened to people like kurt cobain of nirvana. The music industry takes these young people, builds them up, then they have too get rid of them as they are worth more dead than alive.

Do you know that they say last year kurt cobain, made more money than elvis presley and thats saying something, for a man that was only around a short time.

The music industry is a dodgy place, and the stuff that they get involved in, should be known buts its not.

Well yeah, I mean she's a media figure and I wonder, who will be the media figure next?

I think it's interesting to think about, though.

Paris Hilton?

Honestly, this is a heartbreaking story. Fascination made her and fascination will kill her.

Result? Crack down on the papaROTzzi. It's about time.

Hopefully no one will replace her, as people might just learn a lesson on the cult of celebrity.

Hey, Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana is going to reach legal age eventually. Then it's up to see how well she can maintain as a multi-million dollar entertainer on her own.

We could always blame the media.. I think it'd be somewhat accurate, sure people are responsible for themselves but ... when you're spun off your own axis, confused, and hypnotized by all the people around you that it is something that has literally been taken out of her own control, in this day and time too many people have control of too many OTHER Peoples lives.. and it is a sad day when a person can't just be ALONE by themselves to figure themselves out after such a life changing experience as becoming as famous as she has, and then having your hormones manipulated from childbirth ... things can get a bit screwy in the head when people are filling it with non-sense.

It isn't because we have the ability to televise and publish images of celebrities that is the problem. It is the audience who is driving the need to have icons.

If you have a videotape with pornography sitting atop your VCR, do you blame the cameraman, electronics manufacturer, or porn actresses that you feel the desire to watch it? No. The problem is our need to have a Britney, Paris, Lindsey, etc. We are driving them to their deaths. They are just the unfortunate souls lost in the mayhem.

what's next? the Movie and TV Special of course, followed by a reality show of the remaining spears family members... perhaps a foundation - all of which will be forgot into obscurity as the media claim their next victim.

trust me, if the media was all up in my business, I'd make Britney look like Donna Reid.

Do you think it would make a huge profit for the media and others (corporations) when she passes away?

Yeah, probably...

I put most of the blame on the paparazzi. They are way out of control! The way they drive like maniacs in public streets trying to film her riding down the road, causing accidents sometimes: ( let's not forget Diana ) Her manager should be fired and they need one that would deal with the media people like they should be dealt with. If I was driving some star around and all these people with cameras were all around my car, I would warn them loud and clear, " move now , you've been warned, this car is leaving now!" If they stand there and get bumped, well, Britney has enough money to have a great lawyer also. She has all this money and no one is taking care of her. She should not have these problems with the media. They can be dealt with, as many big stars have their people do for them. The paparazzi knows they can get away with it with Britney. I think the police are now starting to give them traffic tickets now. Anyway, I think what bothers these young famous stars is that later on they figure out that the public really doesn't 'love' her like she thought they did. It changes , and when something bad happens in her life, they just keep pushing for something else to happen and the insults start coming out. She sees the ugly side she never saw before and its like everyone is against her now. She has definitely been taken for a ride, concerning the money she has made. I have noticed anyone that works for her, has her best interest at heart. She's going down hill fast and now the public knows too much....it won't be pretty. Oh yeah, I think if Britney goes, they might keep bothering Lindsey Lohan. She has been hanging in there but I don't know how long it will last.

Sometimes I think mediocrity is a blessing in disguise.

I'm only young, with a strong salary, but far from being rich. I don't buy lottery tickets, so I doubt I'll ever be a wealthy person. And seeing the demise of so many successful individuals, that enter the industry with ethics and integrity, it's comforting to know that I'll never have to deal with that.

Sure they make crazy money, but is it really worth it having to put up with the headaches they do?

Honestly, I don't think it is.

Britney is not the only celebrity that can be targeted. There's plenty of pop tarts to take her place if she bites the dust. We've already seen the stupid antics of Paris, Nicole, and Lindsay. Any of them are vulnerable enough to be brought down by the media.

On another note... I could be wrong but I have a suspicion that she's being targeted for destruction by the government for whatever reason - maybe to create hype to distract the masses, or maybe as an experiment to see if they can bring down a public figure in a controlled manner (the govt has been using the public as guinea pigs for decades). And maybe Anna Nicole was a victim as well. Hollywood does have a connection with the govt so I don't put anything past any of them.

What's next ? Why, there will be parties world wide in celebration, that's what.

Please, all of those girls could disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't skip a beat.
Would do the world good. So sick of hearing about Britney the only news I'm interested in seeing is that of her passing.

Harsh, yes. but really, enough already. This loser is one of the main reason I don't even turn the TV on at the moment.

People cannot really care this much about her, or any of them. Well people with any kind of sense living in the real world.

After Spears can no longer capture the flocks attention, Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) will.. is. She already has the cult following, she just needs a couple more years until she can be used as a sexual icon. From there it's Britney 2. At least it currently looks this way.

What will happen...

She will pull through, re-invent herself and be wealthier than ME. But who's going to know about me?
Who's going to know that i have psycho relatives who make me crazy?
And who's going to know or care that i am at my wits end?
Who is going to know or care about my finances since i'm not rich?

Nobody. Ahhh, to be free of the Paparazzi!:shk:

DG?

You know, and I know, this is merely a 'fixation'.

1. Brittany Spears firstly fixated her eyes on the celebrity status.

2. Propogand then kicked in and fixated on HER.

3. Brittany, in return fixated her desires/wants/needs towards the public.

4. Propoganda again fixated upon her further.

5. Should an 'un-timely demise' shake hands with Brittany...

6. Say the word folks.... Propoganda... will (unfortuneatly) be hovering amongst her doorstep at that time as well.

Unless we are Ms. Spear's Bestest of Bestest friend; No matter what will ensue, we could only hope at this point, that the media will be forgiving in nature and respect wishes on all fronts.

I don't see that happening...all too soon.

hate to sound heartless but if she commits suicide, (which i think she will) then it'll be just another dead celebrity who squanderd into a never ending sprial of self destruction and insanity.

on top of that, she's not iconic enough for ppl to give a damn about her death when/if it happens.
