Sitchin is not the only one who told of visitors from the Heavens, nearly every culture has these stories, look at the Dogma people, for instance. There is a Dark Star, a twin of our Sun, and that which orbits it we do not know at this time. I have a feeling we will find out one day soon, but it's just a feeling, nothing more.

The annunaky sound pretty much like imperfect beings, just like us... driven by power and ambition, just like we are... And what if their beloved experiment (the human race) went far beyond their own calculations and with today's warfare technology we might represent a threat to them...
Some of the pieces found to back up the theory of the existance of the giant annunakies where giantic axes, and to be honest, they are not very advanced pieces of weaponery... Also it seems to me that they can only travel accross space with Planet x. If they where so technologicaly advance in transportation, sure they could visit more often...

Why does the planet Nibiru always have to be "bad" why not try looking at it from another perspective, forums and people can be wrong. The only bad I see from a mystery planet showing up would be mass panic and confusion and probably the world governements building some sort of space craft that acts as a nuke.

there was a video game called "Phantasy Star 4" on the old sega system that had a mystery planet that only showed up after so many years...*gasp* this could be a sign :p

I would think that one can place the literary Annunaki as a threat up there with other sci-fi threats like HG Wells' Martians, Triffids and Zyra & Bellus.

The Annunaki could only operate with the truth they were given, and as such, could only relay the mis information they believed to be the truth. After realizing some of their mis interpretations of certain situations they decided to curtail any outward contact with us, out of, shame. After all, you cant be a god, and be mistaken.........

And I agree with the "Crossing, Straights, Ferry" concept of "Niburu" Old Zak has a covert agenda.
