Her ordeal began with a routine visit to the new Riyadh offices of her company.The electricity cut out, so Yara and her colleagues — who are all men — went to a nearby Starbucks to use its wireless internet.“Some men came up to us with long beards and white dresses. They asked ‘Why are you here?" The religious police took her mobile phone, pushed her into a cab and drove her to Malaz prison in Riyadh. She was interrogated, strip-searched and forced to sign and fingerprint a series of confessions.

This event took place in Bush's oil friends' country. Now wouldn't you think that the President of the United States, at some point, would stand up to these thugs that do such things? Wouldn't you think that he would stand up to a country that 15 of the 19 9/11 terrorists came from, a country that harbors madrasses that spew hatred of us and our way of life?
Here is a women who did nothing more than sit down with co-workers at a Starbucks, to use the internet, because the electricity had gone out at her company office. What does this say about Bush trying to promote "democracy" in the middle east? I think not. What do YOU think?
