ScienceDaily (Feb. 5, 2008) — Dr Colin Eady of Crop & Food Research in New Zealand and his collaborators in Japan have been testing tearless
onions in the laboratory and have presented their results so far to the 5th International Symposium on Edible Alliaceae, in The Netherlands.
Good news for all of you onion cookers out there. My question now is, WHY IN THE WORLD DO WE HAVE SCIENTIST TACKLING THIS ISSUE?
Dont we have diseases to cure? A world to make better? In a scale from 1 to 1000 I wonder how big the issue of tears and onions ranks in the world.
