He and zx are obviously different people. He got banned, no one didnt. Somethins fishy......

Hate to bring this outta the woodworks, but after lurking forever, and since I havent been online in a while, i wanted to ask.

How will we know if we cant hear from him. Who knows if he would even come back to defend himself anyways. If I was who he says and I was prevented from posting even after giving my proof. id question everything about this site and chalk it up as not being worth it.

But as to them being one in the same, i doubt it. the posting habits are different. No one went on to zx's thread and was able to ask very pertinant questions to debunk. theres some fas out theories that claim to show they are all the same, but it just doesnt work. Heck, cant the 3 amigos just run the ip addy's and check? if they ever posted from one of the same ip's then we have our answer. if not. then i consider no one not to be debunked.

You do realize it's pretty easy to come off as two different people right? Especially on the internet. If I could create another account here without getting banned or warned, I'd do it in a heart beat to show you how easily you can fool people.

Back in 2002 I had a friend on the internet who thought her boyfriend was cheating on her and using Yahoo chatrooms to meet the women he was cheating on her with. I created a Yahoo profile and used a photo of my sister on it and talked to my friends boyfriend and had him convinced I was a woman for a week. After a week I got him to agree to meet "her" somewhere and that's when his real girlfriend (my good friend) showed up to bust him.

Now if you want to try coming off as two different people on the same forum you can do it different ways. You could create one account from your home and create another account from a library or a friend or family members computer so you'd have a different IP address for each ID. Also keeping in mind not to make them around the same time. Make one from home, then make another from a library like a week or a month later.

You'd also have to think about how different each ID should act. Look at ZX for example. In the beginning, ZX had very bad spelling errors that many people pointed out. ZX also came off as your average person. Then noone_817 comes into that thread and is the complete opposite. Came off as pretty intelligent and didn't make many spelling errors. Before ZX stopped posting, their spelling became much better out of nowhere and their style of posting looked more like noone_817's. I'm not the first or only person who noticed that. Go back and look at ZX's posts to see how much of a change there was in their style of posting before they stopped.

All you have to do is create a character and post differently than usual. Purposely add spelling errors and say thing's like "Sorry for my spelling. English isn't my native language".

I really do wish I could create a second account just to show some of you how easily you can be fooled. I live in Northern Kentucky. I'm a 20 minute walk from Cincinnati, Ohio. I could easily go over there and use a computer at the public library or an internet cafe to create another account. Right there I'd already have two ID's originating from different states, each having a different IP address. If traces were run to see if it's the same person they'd get IP addresses coming from different states. Most Admins would see that and probably think it's two different people. I don't have the free time to do this and I love ATS and don't want to get banned from here just to prove a point.

I don't understand why some of you people think it's impossible for one person to be two or more people on the same forum. It would be really easy for someone to do this if they have enough free time and just took a few minutes to think it out first.

Such a pity this thread is gonna go to waste with not even a simple answer from the big guys. Does no one else find it odd at the lack of response after such a commotion?

On the new terrorist attack, this to me is believible. reminds me of the first series of Heroes a bit though, so the thoughts of you being an easily influenced teenager do linger in my mind.

1 it is very easy to change your i.p adress so that it is recorded differently on websites. download Firefox(it is free and quick to install, also offers overall better security than IE). Then find a "free proxy list"

i think u are mistaken here. zx admitted he was a hoax and was thus banned. no one never did. always claimed he was legit until he was prevented from posting.l last we heard he sent in the proof but nothing as come of it. looks like it will remain a mystery that the powers that be wont answer.

Maybe the guy was drunk when he originally posted and then sobered up, said "Oh crap" and changed his story to keep from getting killed. That would account for the spelling errors.

Could Springer or Skeptic or someone PLEASE give us some answers regarding this guy's status?

I was under the impression that he made a big error in ATS Chat that gave him away as a hoax, so he got banned until he could prove himself and he never did.
