Come on! Some of the greatest films ever made were horror films made before 1990, a mere 15 year ago. A might reasonably argue that "The Exorcist" is the scariest movie ever made. You're dismissing a lot of classic films because of the cheap films made mostly during the fifties and sixties that ran mostly on drive-in screens and endlessly on late-night television.

Microwave massacre. The name says it all.

I hardly remember the movie, I watched it about 20 years ago. I'd like to keep it that way.

If you are curious, though, here's the IMDB Link

Oh c**p, I haven't thought of that movie in ages! You're right...it sucked, a total waste of film

So, what's the worst movie you've ever seen?

The Stupids, with Tom Arnold starring (need I say more), was bar none, the absolute worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life. I seriously doubt anything will ever top it.

I was so bored one day (first and only time ever seeing it), that some friends and I actually saw this thing in the theater!!!

We were there with about 20 others (it was a day or so after opening, and I went to the movies about every other day back then). They all left one by one, as the minutes ticked off. It was THAT bad! My friends and I stayed more out of morbid curiousity, like watching a train wreck...all the time thinking "it can't get any worse", but oh, were we wrong!

What, were you born in 1990 or something??? That statement is ridiculous!!

Besides Scream there hasn't been a scary movie made since 1990.

I didn't find it to be that scary. The best thing about that movie is Naomi Watts. She gets me really hot and bothered.

I'd have to agree with Grady and say that The Exorcist could very well be the most horrifying movie of all time. My parents took me to see that at the movies. How twisted is that? The part where she crawls down the stairs upside down and backwards. Man I couldn't sleep for months after seeing that.

Peace

Ummm...I gotta disagree with whoever put Saved in this category. That movie was not only funny, but also gives a good skewering to those Bible Thumping kids...

Hell, even Meet the Stupids has more redeeming quality of some of the horrors that are out there. (Who didn't have fun with "I'm My Own Grandpa")

But...I have a short list that I can leave

Ring 2 (#$%#$Y^%$&$#%^&#$%^#@%$^@#$^%@#$&#%^)
Time Bandits (Only bought and viewed because it was in a two pack with The Life of Brian)
Weekend at Bernie's 2
Tip Toes (Ok...Gary Oldman was good though)
Casino Royale
The Son of the Pink Panther (I think...whichever one had Roberto Begnini as the lead)

That is just to name a few...

No! Cabin Boy was great!

"Would you like to buy a monkey?"

C'mon, with a ship name like "The Filthy Whore", and going though seas known as "Hell's Bucket", how can you go wrong? It's one of those really strange movies that one either likes or absolutely despises...like Nothing But Trouble.

I didn't find it to be that scary.

Creepy yes, scary no...but I liked it.

I saw part of Cabin Boy and what I saw of it, it looked pretty good, much better than I would have expected. I'm going rent it.

What??? How can you not like a movie that includes the line:

"So that's what an invisible barrier looks like..."

Batman and Robin. Not only did I lose two hours of my life that I can now never put to more productive use gazing at my navel, but I also paid $6.50 for the privilege of being so insulted.

No. Worse. Independence Day.

Pearl Harbour? I know there's a decent movie in there somewhere, I just haven't been brave enough to go back and look for it. What idiot thought we needed a love triangle in a war movie that is supposed to be telling the truth?:bnghd:

Saving Private Ryan.

Anyone remember windtalkers? it was a good movie plotwise, it was just made very poorly. it seamed tha nick cage's gun never ran out of ammo, and everyone important got taken out by a machine gun, and hand grenades, when one of them blew, it might as well have been a napalm grenade.

Independence day was great, dont diss bill pullman!

anyone else think robert loja (sp?) sounds a little like george C. scott?
