Yeah, I remember that.

Speaking on this topic, it could be "We are going to bomb Iran".

It did not sound at all like "Iran" to me, but who knows. It could be a foreign language too.

well... on 8 tries of listening to it. I hear we are going to bomb (muffled) but I think it might even be MTV.... We are going to bomb mtv. Would make sense. What turns Middle Eastern Teens onto US culture? Also the fact that it is IN an MTV debate would mean they already have someone who has 'infiltrated' the station, thus laying the ground work for an attack on this corporation.

I have no idea. I'm not even 50% sure. but thats my take on it.

Edit to add P.S. has anyone thought about contacting Dr. Paul's campaign to see if they are aware of the glitch? I guarantee they have the Audio Technology needed to single out this voice; and validate it's statements.

i bet if you played the audio back at a slower rate you would easily be able to decipher what he said. Whoever has the right program should get on that.

I'm hearing 'we are going to bomb iran'-maybe because a previous poster already had the put into my head but thats what I hear
How did you catch that? Nice job. Pretty creepy but it could be anything, although I dont know why someone would be saying that at this particular moment in his speech.

Read the OP,

Specific about the time?

" so we can try to make out what this guy says at 22:14 to 22:17."

Which video?

The one that was posted

www.youtube.com...

Edit: If you don't wish to listen to the whole thing you can minimize the page and let it load and then when it is done, pull the little fast forward bar under the video to the appropriate spot.

I watch this and I thought i heard
"they're going to bomb Iran"
so i listened to it again and again
the more i listened the more it sounded
as if some one taped this and did a sound over
so i tried recording it to run it through some audio programs
and couldn't pick it up, i'm now tring to download the vid and work with that to
see if that works.

I just listened to it a few more times and he most definately did not say Iran. Try listening to it with headphones on loud. Infidel is what I keep hearing. I don't really think that is what he's saying though. It sounds like the name of a city I don't recognize.
It's even starting to sound like "We are going to bomb in four days"
The reason I'm sure he didn't say Iran is because you can clearly make out the "in" at the beginning of the word in question.

The views are back up finally. They were stuck at 1,030 for the longest time. Youtube disgusts me.

What's up with this video? First I made a comment that it was stuck at 1030 views. I checked on it later and it seems the counter problem was fixed, but my comment had been deleted. Also, it did have 454 ratings, but now it's 445?

I'm not a Ron Paul supporter, but I hate to see a candidate pushed to the side like this...everyone deserves a fair chance.
On topic, I did try to figure out what that voice was saying, but I couldn't make anything out, sorry.

sometimes even listening to it i hear
"were going to have problems like this"
I should just work on getting the sound away from the rest of it

Wow triple post!

Anyway, thanks for your efforts in cutting that clip.

Now we need to enhance and clean up just the muffled section.

My guess, If I had sound programs to do so would be to localize the lower frequencies. Whatever the person says, it is definatly lower than Ron's voice. If we could some how isolate that frequency and normalize it, we may have a chance at determining what is said.

But I don't know anything so...... Good luck

Ok now after analyzing the sound clip thoroughly through the use of some software I have been able to detect something slightly different.

What I hear after some enhancements is; "They're going to bomb Clinton".
Another thing I noticed is it does not really sound like a middle eastern accent.

I won't add more to this until tomorrow.
I have the sound clip I edited and will be taking it to some sound technicians and sound designers in the morning.

Fortunately I have friends who play with audio files all day long

They will most likely be able to clear this up much more than I can.

Until then, listen again, I think its saying "They're going to bomb Clinton" and not "We're going to bomb infidels"

"they are going to bomb you again"

...that's what I got after playing around with the clip in Audition.
