Israelis told to prepare 'rocket rooms' for war

www.breitbart.com

Retired senior officers told Israelis on Saturday to prepare "rocket rooms" as protection against a rain of missiles expected to be fired at the Jewish state in any future conflict.

Speaking on radio as part of a military propaganda offensive, retired general Udi Shani said: "The next war will see a massive use of ballistic weapons against the whole of Israeli territory."

At the beginning of 2008 the military command in charge of passive defence began an information campaign to prepare Israelis for any future conflict "in the light of lessons drawn from the war in Lebanon."

Well if they are planning on attacking Iran, they'd better be ready for those missiles alright. Because they will be coming from Iran, Syria, and Lebanon this time. At least.

Let us not forget this:

Planned US-Israeli Attack on Iran

At the outset of Bush's second term, Vice President Dick Cheney dropped a bombshell. He hinted, in no uncertain terms, that Iran was "right at the top of the list" of the rogue enemies of America, and that Israel would, so to speak, "be doing the bombing for us", without US military involvement and without us putting pressure on them "to do it":

"One of the concerns people have is that Israel might do it without being asked... Given the fact that Iran has a stated policy that their objective is the destruction of Israel, the Israelis might well decide to act first, and let the rest of the world worry about cleaning up the diplomatic mess afterwards," (quoted from an MSNBC Interview Jan 2005)

Israel is a Rottweiler on a leash: The US wants to "set Israel loose" to attack Iran. Commenting the Vice President's assertion, former National Security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski in an interview on PBS, confirmed with some apprehension, yes: Cheney wants Prime Ariel Sharon to act on America's behalf and "do it" for us:

"Iran I think is more ambiguous. And there the issue is certainly not tyranny; it's nuclear weapons. And the vice president today in a kind of a strange parallel statement to this declaration of freedom hinted that the Israelis may do it and in fact used language which sounds like a justification or even an encouragement for the Israelis to do it."

The foregoing statements are misleading. The US is not "encouraging Israel". What we are dealing with is a joint US-Israeli military operation to bomb Iran, which has been in the active planning stage for more than a year. The Neocons in the Defense Department, under Douglas Feith, have been working assiduously with their Israeli military and intelligence counterparts, carefully identifying targets inside Iran.

With more recent indicators like McCain saying there's going to be more wars, Bush's visit to Israel, I can only hope and pray we are just a bunch of alarmist conspiracy theorists trying to predict a new front on the Axis of Evil.

Unfortunately, the plans have been in place for quite some time, just like the plans were in place for Iraq long before it ever happened. Now more than ever, it appears to a question of when rather than if.

And with nuclear weapons, no less.

Bad bad bad. Sick sick sick. vomit vomit vomit. puke even. I am over it.

Again I am going to reference a report that may be new to a lot of you. It deals with the consequences of a military strike on Iran. I recommend it highly.

A Preemptive Attack on Iran's Nuclear Facilities: Possible Consequences

Using even tactical nuclear weapons on Iran doesn't border on madness, it IS madness.
