The economy lost 17,000 jobs in January, the Labor Department reported on Friday, the first monthly decline in four years and the most striking evidence yet that the United States may be slipping into a recession.

More evidence that the recession is already here?

Looks like it to me, but I am no economist.

They say it was only one month, no need for too
much concern, and hey, Bush remains confident
in the overall strength of the economy,
and we trust him right?
