How could we one might ask, and all we would need to do is actually act like how Kangjia57 and other likeminded people accuse us being already.

First thing we would do is create three separate countries that are split up with the northern Kurds as one country and the Central as another and finally the South as the third. This is the way it should have been anyways before the ignorant Brits and French got involved, and so this would end all the bitter secular fighting. Now the Central country would hate it since they would have no oil, but they would quickly end up being goat herders once again with no oil or money supporting their cause.

Then we would put 500k soldiers on the ground and have martial law in every city while also creating no-man’s land anywhere we like. Under martial all would be killed who broke it, man woman or child. Anyone who is found in the no-man’s lands would also be killed on sight.

We would then take over total control of all oil fields and put our own people in the government. Not some puppet government but our OWN people for we do not need some silly CIA plot or halfway controllable local group, we could just be the government. If there was any uprising we would instill fear much like how Saddam would have and just wipe whole villages off the map anytime a group got a wild hair to try something. When the people are good we feed them and when they are not we don’t feed them…very simple.

This is our capabilities, but it is not what we would ever be willing to do, and so we are stuck with your truism statement above, and a endless struggle to get the Iraqies on their own two feet.

Notice the delay from the sound of the gun firing till the impact of the rounds. The gunship is not very close, the zoom on the video just gives the impression they are hovering right above the truck. In fact they are quite distant. You try shooting dead on from that distance and in a moving helicopter and then show me how easy it is. It's not.

Imagine your country being invaded by a bunch of guys that used language like "Smoke em" and they had all kinds of really cool weapons that were pointed at you telling you how to live, then sometimes accidently murdering your innocent family members and friends, oops, so sorry.

If an invading super power over ran my neighborhood, I am pretty sure I would be hauling what ever weapons I could find in the back of my pick up.

Well, the message behind it was that this kind of crap cuts both ways, so before people want to make a joke of it and treat it like a game, they should see the reality that whether Iraqi RESISTANCE is being killed or US Soldiers are being killed, it's a tragedy, a waste, and definitely no joke.

It's really shameful to see that people think stuff like this is cool, or funny.

That basically says it all. These Apaches were on an S&D Mission, with the objective of eliminating a group of insurgents who just launched an attack against Coalition Forces.

His 99.99% Positive Weapons ID turned out to be 100% correct did it not?

Hard to say? how did you come to that conclusion?

From what I can see, they are either soldiers or people transferring weapons to another location, I don't see any evidence of terrorists? I'm not saying they are not, but I don't see how you came to that conclusion.

I don't know why people are assuming these people are terrorists. Looks more like soldiers, or something else. May be terrorists, but I dont see why people say that like they know it.

You watching these videos and cheering is like the average idiot that watches Manny Ramirez miss a ground ball and calls him a scrub. You have no basis.

Of course there are hundreds of them on YouTube. Some view them for entertainment because they are sick, and some view them out of curiosity or educational purposes.

I don't mind the videos, I mind the stupid comments that go along with it. Example:

or

As I said in an earlier post, there are two sides to this "War on Terror", and this is an international board.

I'll let you pick your choice of answer from the following two options.

1. What you consider to be "aggressor propaganda" in Delta Boys post may well be offensive to you, but this is a war, and these things happen. I'm sorry for the loss of lives that your nation/group has incurred. I wish it could be different.

Now personally, if it were down to me - and it isn't by the way - I'd have the whole thread canned because, from my own personal perspective its a territorial peeing contest and adds nothing to ATS as a whole.

But its not down to me. It does boil down to the ATS T&C's, and - to be honest with you - I have canvassed a number of staff opinions on the thread and the videos and we have agreed that neither of them breaches the very fine line that takes them over the thresholds set.

That having been said, the two videos are more than enough to make their points, and any others of a similar vein here will get canned.

First the OP was ignorant in stating that they the Terrorist were innocent Civilians wearing hoods and hiding weapons. It was not like the OP was showing off the video to praise the killing of terrorist witch all of us here that are US or British patriots don't do on ATS. Then the wanna be terrorist post a genuine terrorist propaganda video and you say that he didn't break any rules. Well I think that most of us here on ATS would dis-agree. Its not like us Americans go posting videos of terrorist getting cut in half by 50 caliber sniper rifle all the time, Why? Because their is no glory in watching another human beings body parts go flying through the air. Our troops do not take glory in it either, Its a job. Kill or be killed while protecting Iraqis.
