This sounds like one of those early 60ies Star Trek episodes. Now all we need is to replace the lebanse guy with Captain Kirk and all of it would make sense.

On topic: I followed this case some years ago. At the moment it's the best evidence we have that we in fact, as specie, have a genetic link with some kind of advanced race. I think the results are pretty clear, aren't they?

detailed survey of the vast literature on sequence variation in Hypervariable Region I of mitochondrial DNA (see Mitomap) revealed that only four persons from this entire literature, consisting of tens of thousands of individuals, contain the extremely rare C-to-T substitution at 16,108. Quite surprisingly, those four persons who contain a C-to-T substitution at 16,108 also contain all four of the other substitutions at 16,129, 16,162, 16,172, and 16,304 in the blonde’s sample, yet show almost no other changes in the entire hypervariable region of 380 base pairs (one person differs by a single base). Hence, we may conclude with high probability, that those four human persons and the tall blonde female share a common maternal ancestor, sometime in the past 2,000–10,000 years, given known rates of substitution in mitochondrial DNA. Indeed, a perfect 5/5 match between the tall blonde and those four persons indicates that little if any random substitution has occurred in the intervening period.

Who might those four persons be, who seem to share a distant maternal ancestor with the tall blonde female, who left her hair with a young man in Sydney in 1992? It turns out that all four are of the Mongoloid Chinese racial type, with presumably Asian appearance as well as dark black hair. One was included as part of a small group from China, while the other three were found as just 4% in a large group of Taiwanese (see D84952, D84956, and D84985 from the DNA Data Bank of Japan). All four thus belong to a rare third human racial type (again, as defined by DNA sequence), found only in Asia.

Well, you know, the names were changed to protect the identities of the actual persons. And that the characters and events depicted are wholly fictional. The characters bear no resemblance to any person living or dead.

I heard about this story a few years ago. I could have sworn that when they got the hairs back and tested it the initial result was that it more closely matched something from the dog family. I was thinking about this recently I'm glad to hear new analysis. He didn't have sex with them until he was on their ship he says right? So when they left after he bit off the blonde's nipple was his memory wiped or something? Or when did that occur?

If that was in reference to me I was using the verbiage from the article and it was sexual relations with aliens that led to the hair being discovered. I was most curious about when his copulation, if you will, happened and I thought it was a legitimate question. Being that they disappeared and he noticed no lapse in time and then he noticed the hair but no fornication, if I may, had taken place known to him at that time.

My first post dealt with the topic at hand and the topic does deal with alien sexual relations, how else did this guy get the hair?

Evidence is key to denying ignorance in this particular case. Hopefully they will continue with other sources and tests.

Yes Im a C2C fiend. This story has always intrigued me. I think this case might have been on UFO Files on the History Channel. I definitely remember a video recreation of the event/interview of some sort where I heard about this.

Excellent story. I wish we could get to the bottom of it once and for all. The Travis Walton case is terrifying yet fascinating. One of the best cases out there.
