This is the first time that both quantum memory and teleportation, as the information transfer is known, have been demonstrated in a single experiment.

Interesting. I've known about successful teleportation, but this could eventually lead to absolutely secure communications of qbits. While practical use seems to be a ways off, this is an important step.
