That's nothing more than what you choose to believe. Nothing more. You can say you disagree with me. You can resort to name calling and insults as some like to do here when they can't browbeat someone else into accepting their views as gospel. Fine. Whatever. At the end of any day, all of the "I think ..." or "I feel ..." statements made are just that - what someone thinks/feels. Doesn't mean those thoughts are facts.

I was born at night but it wasn't last night and I didn't come down on the last drop of rain. So please spare me the platitudes about crunched numbers when the ONLY person who has a motive to do that is BUSH.

The same way he says we have had 39,000 deaths when the DoD is investigating numbers to be around 70,000. They did the same thing during Vietnam

No, I believe war and "homicide" are two entirely different things. And IMO you are fundamentally wrong in your assessment. For example, criminals (and religious fanatics) out to do you and your family harm have no value and should be stopped any way possible before they can do harm.

As I had written before (and you obviously didn't read) no one wants to see anyone dead. US military or Iraqi civilians. Sorry if that's too hard for you to believe.

The study is absurd to say the least. You dont calculate death tolls by a survey of "how many people do you know" ! What is this ? Some kind of a joke !

It does get me thinking. They went house to house and interviewed 2414 people, and came up with the one million figure. I guess they just took their word for it, and didn't ask for death certificates or evidence.

The article also quotes Iraq Body Count, my person fav website:

"The widely watched Web site Iraq Body Count currently estimates that between 80,699 and 88,126 people have died in the conflict, although its methodology and figures have also been questioned by U.S. authorities and others."
