Iran was supposed to open its petroleum exchange market today, the Iranian Oil Bourse.
en.wikipedia.org...

The long-awaited Iranian Oil Bourse, a place for trading oil, petrochemicals and gas in various non-dollar currencies, will soon open.

Iran's Finance Minister Davoud Danesh-Jafari told reporters the bourse will be inaugurated during the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution (February 1-11) at the latest.

Actually, yes, quite often. The only reason why anyone noticed it this time round is because both the cables were supposed to be each other's back up as it is unlikely both would be down at the same time. Unfortunately, the unlikely thing happened and both were cut, causing this massive outage.

Four cables being cut to the same region in one day simply can’t be a coincidence. The question is why was it done? I would remind folks that many Muslim websites were disabled just before 911.

You don’t want the people you’re going to blame in a false flag operation to be able to get their story out. I’m thinking that this is either related to the opening of the Iranian oil bourse, or perhaps a planned false flag event to occur at the super bowl, or both.

There’s a much more interesting thread on this going on in Current Events, just in case you didn’t know.

Egypt: No ships present when internet cable cut

No ships were present when two marine cables carrying much of the Middle East's internet traffic were severed, announced Egypt's Ministry of Communications Sunday, contrary to earlier speculation about the causes of the cut.

The ministry had originally stated that a ship dropping its anchor on the two key cables was most likely responsible for Wednesday's cut in service that robbed Egypt, Saudi Arabia and India of much of their internet.

"A marine transport committee investigated the traffic of ships in the area, 12 hours before and after the malfunction, where the cables are located to figure out the possibility of being cut by a passing vessel and found out there were no passing ships at that time," said the statement.

The ministry added that the location, 8.3 kilometers (5 miles) from the port of Alexandria, was in a restricted area so ships would not have been allowed there to begin with.
