So how long before military applications are made? Real time information on the battlefield, GPS, satellite/drone imagery, and even scarier, Battlefield txt messages.

Ooo that is so cool. Fun and, dangerous.

They can probably already do this with a pair of close glasses, or for the battlefield in a helmet.

I would bet that the Military probably already has them. It's just that the public is just now finding out about it.

I'm pretty sure the military and others hold onto technology for quite a while before releasing it to the public, therefore being ahead of the population and knowing the defects of the technology.

It makes me wonder how long this contact lens has been around.

It is funny you say that you have wondered how long it has been around. That is pretty much what I thought when I saw the article. Also I wonder how much more capabilities and options the Military version has.

edit to add: I also have to wonder if it can receive information... how much info can go out?
