My childhood? hmm...

Pretty average...as far as average goes. Had my fair share of up's and down's like everyone else. I'm hedging on a few thingys that I should type here to give you all the 'jist' of what it was like growing up in Ducky's house. Dang L.I. So much to say....so little time... Ask me something specific next time my friend. Glad to oblige.

My favorite clown? Never really thought of it. One that stands out RIGHT NOW in my head is Krusty the Clown, from the Simpsons. He's a real sick sumbitch lolololol. Then again, I have a twisted sense of humor, so that guy fits the bill to a T.

Ros, me wee aussie friend, I have 1 pet - CAT. His name is Oliver. Got him when he was 7 months old from the animal shelter. He's 4 yrs old now. Oliver got his name from the kind folks at the shelter. He was abandoned; nobody wanted him (like Oliver Twist). As soon as we opened the cage to meet n' greet him, he JUMPED into our arms, purrrrrrring! Ducky was soooo content. The rest is history.

Good morning Ixiy!

Never had a pet duck. Played with them alot at one of my relative's farms though. I'm thinking that not only would they be NOT allowed in the apartment complex where I live (too much quacking disturbing the neighbors) that it would be quite an effort to raise one. My folks had quite the time with me....so I concur...lololol Seriously, I believe duckies should remain out in the wild; not cooped up in an apartment.

Howdy GH!

Ohhhh the dreaded poundage. I'm all TOO familiar with.

Here's a few tips and tricks that I found REALLY helped my friend:

1. Before ANY meal, drink a glass of water. Tricks the tummy into thinking it's full alot faster. Tea works fine as well, expecially your favorite herbal types.

2. If possible, try to NOT eat after 7 or 8 pm. *Remember* it takes anywhere from 6-8 hours for the body to properly digest food. Going to bed with a FULL stomach is kinda a no-no. Your body is working on overtime by trying to digest AND keeping you in sleep mode (delta state). This is when the body 'opts' to store fat. Digestion will occur at a slower rate.

3. You like snacks? I know I do! GO GREEN! What I mean is grab a healthy choice. A small plate of veggies and dips are better for you than 1 cup of brand name chips. Keep them on hand. Oh..almost forgot...try the low calorie/fat dressings/dips, and if possible try creating your own! This way, you KNOW exactly what is going into your mouth, rather than second guessing all those chemicals we can properly pronounce on the dressing bottles!

Yes congrats my slender and healthy friend. I know that when I lose a few it feels Sooo good!

My problem is that I can go all day without eating and then its that late night need to eat eat eat! I have tried eating during the day, and having small stuff several times a day, but I just revert back to the ol night time eating thing.

I do eat healthy as you know for the most part, but dang 20 lbs? Im jealous

My Mom once told me that its not worth gainning weight the way I drinkl coffee too, shes right and when I cut out the sugar, I seem to lose alot eaiser.

Ok let me see if I get this straight? I've got 3 wishes...

Does wish #1 count if I ask for unlimited wishes? Probably not eh? lololol Ok...So as to NOT be too greedy, I'll stick with 3 wishes only.

1. Win this Saturday's Lotto 649 Jackpot for $25,000,000.

2. My husband gets a full time job (never mind the fact of me winning $$$, I want him to go out and work for the fam, and have a sense of 'worth' about himself.

Do you hate it when people do typos, like when they hit the letter next to the one they mean to? I mean it happens all the time, even to me!, but I was wondering if ever happens to you?
Sometimes i sign my name as muts, its easy to do when you look at the keyboard to see why!!! You ever accidently do this too? like, oh i don't know, Ruckster perhaps? muts.

I don't mind the occasional typo Nuts. We're all human. Lord knows I've made a few from time to time.

The ones that stand out for me, are consistant typos in one thread. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, that they know what they're talking about, and that that these 'few typos' can be chalked up to a few things. I look at everyone's post as a 'whole' first; pickiing out key points of topic.

What bugs me, and probably with everyone else, are those posts that don't have structure, punctuation, grammar. All three of these aspects gives my brain a real workout or headache - take yer pick. lololol Especially when everything is 'jumbled up' into one LONGGG paragraph. Hoh boy.

All in all, I'm not too much of a stickler for typos...as long as I'm able to discern what is being conveyed.

I personally refuse to eat duck. I feed the ones in my lake, and they are sort of like my pets. It would be creepy.
