I know its fictional but bear with me…

Does anyone know about a project similar to the Howard Foundation in Heinlins books? I’ve heard rumors that something similar was started back in the sixties and the third generation is under way. Would you support a project like this? Would you be involved if selected? Any info is appreciated.
