I wouldn't call it ancient, but it was great watching it when I was a kid.

I loved:

Knight Rider - I have a photo of me sitting in KIT when it was brought to Garden Island for the USA Navy demonstration. Absolutely loved that show.

Quantum Leap - Good ol' Dean Stockwell, and Scott Bakula who now is Captain of the USS Enterprise in "Star Trek - Enterprise"

Who's the Boss - Don't remember much of it, but I do remember I liked it

Highway to Heaven - Michael Landon Rocked - I remember when he passed away, I was quite saddened

Airwolf - About a secret military helicopter.

Thats all i can think of at the moment...

So whats your favourite 'old' TV series?

Thx

Do the Outer Limits and the Twilight Zone count? Otherwise I don't really know of any old series.

That show just has a heart to it that lasts.

Here's an edit: Mash. I like Mash. M*A*S*H

It's About Time! 1966

It's about time,
It's about space,
About strange people in the strangest place.
It's about time,
It's about flight,
Travelin' faster than the speed of light.

About space people and a brave crew,
As through the barrier of time they flew.
Pass the Roman Senators,
Pass an armored knight,
Pass the firing Minutemen,
To this modern site.

It's about time for you and me
To meet these people of amazing feats.
It's about two astronauts and how they educate
A pre-historic woman and her pre-historic mate.

It's about time
It's about space
About strange people in the strangest place
They will be here
With all of us
Dodging a taxi, a car, a bus.

Where will they go
What will they do
In this strange place where everything is new.
Will they manage to survive
Watch each week and see.
Will they get accustomed to the Twentieth Century.

It's about time
For our good byes
To all our pre-historic gals and guys.

And now,
It's About Time
It's About Time
It's About Time
It's About Time!

Two astros in a Gemini time warp and land on an island... It's About Time. Geez, I haven't thought of the since the sixties. This is fantastic it's still in my brain at all. Thank you so much!!!

Imogene Coca played a pre-historic cavewoman. The astros were named Mac and Heck by the the pre-historic characters... a lagoon? Wow. Flashback.

Another one that was mentioned that I loved was Land of the Giants... the Spindrift... the Doctor Fitzhugh (sp) character. The ship was cool as I recall.

Amazing. Thanks,

Vic

I haven't heard of half of these shows? Maybe I was too young????

Either way - I watched Airwolf in Australia, so it did show here

I also would like to add 'Red Dwarf'... Started in 1986, a British comedy about a human, felix sapien, hologram, and android, 3 million years in the future - lost in space, trying to get back to earth.

Absolutely Hilarious!

Thx

Eeeh-oooh-ahhh. The alarm at the the squad. Squad 51, KMG365. Rampart? 51. Male victim, mid 30's electrocution with flashback dementia. IV lactated Ringers bolus push and I'm sending a strip over the radio phone. Remember when that was new? Geez, DeSoto and Gage. Johnny and Roy. I like how they yanked Gages chain for laughs almost every show. That was a good show Julie London (Dix)... totally hot. Totally.

Anyone remember Steven Speilberg's "Amazing Stories"?

I also remember Love Boat, & Fantasy Island. What about Dallas & Dynasty?

I hated Knotts Landing though.
