Diana, Princess of Wales, thought Mohammed Al Fayed was spying on her shortly before she died, her sister told the High Court today.
Lady Sarah McCorquodale told the inquest into Diana’s death that she felt she was under surveillance when she was staying on Mr Al Fayed’s luxury yacht with his son Dodi.
Ian Burnett QC, for the coroner, asked: “Did the Princess speak to you from the boat about bugging?”
Lady Sarah replied: “Yes, she thought the boat was being bugged by Mr Al Fayed.”
Diana was From her last telephone call with Diana, two days before she died, Lady Sarah also said that she thought the romance with Dodi was coming to an end. She said that Diana had declared that talking to Dodi about her problems “would be a waste of time”.
