Bush asking for $70 billion more to keep war going

You've got that right. The $70 Billion more that he wants would provide health care for everyone in this country. To think that we are the only major Industrialized country NOT to have universal health care, the only country in that group where senior citizens have to decide whether to pay for their medicines or eat. What have we come to? Compassionate Conservative? I think not. One of the problems with almost all of the politicians today is that they never had to taste poverty or experience hunger.
