August 8, 2008 8-8-8

My moms birthday is 3/3, my dads is 9/9 and today is my birthday... anything I should be worried about? Armageddon? maybe being the son of Satan? Any thoughts?

Frankly, myself, I'd say it's just because we happen to have ten fingers. It's largely arbitrary, and only preferred because our particular numerical base system happened to be used by the civilizations that took prominence in the last five or so centuries. It's not like there weren't plenty of civilizations with other base numbering systems, such as the Maya, or ones with no clear base, like the romans. They were superseded for reasons other than their math.

Just wanted to note that August 8 2008 was actually the day I turned 18.
So for me it was 8-8-8-8.
