A Cosmic Rosebud has been found using an infrared-radiation sensitive telescope. It is roughly 3330 light years away, home to 130 young stars. The Gas
Cloud, known as NGC 7129, has been photographed before, but without the technology required to see it 'in it's blossom'.
The telescope also allows to see past the cloud and previously invisible stars.
Analysis from types and amounts of light emitted from the dust cloud allows scientists to predict which will become stars and which will become
For me this proves the beauty of nature, and can help people see the beauty of science.
