Anyone else experiencing massive lag on tha intarwebs?

It's taking me forever to load some pages. Not just on this website, but others as well. It's intermittent, and it affects not just web pages, but role playing games, VoIP and other stuff. At this point of time it's going okay, but it was bad the last week.

My paranoid mind is thinking they're doing some sort of restructuring on the web, to better monitor internet traffic (because of this thing I read).
