Welcome aboard one and all. It is a great thing when we get to review the Membership for staff candidates because it allows to see just how many amazing people enjoy our site and contribute to the denial of ignorance.

You new staffers are about to discover that everything we've ever said about how this site is run is TRUE. The team work and discussion that takes place when we have to deal with enforcing the Terms and Conditions will likely be a eye opening experience for many. If only the corporate world could function like our staff does.

On behalf of my ego and the stunning Ms. Nicola Roberts, star of my avatars - who draws more comments than my threads most of the time - I'd like to say thanks for letting me have this opportunity which came completely out of the blue as I was bundled into a black 1954 Chevvy earlier this morning, taken to an undisclosed location and I appear to have a memory blank until now.....

I have to say that I am kind of still taken aback by this....completely unexpected....and I don't know what to say....

....I really thought that the coffee room would have something better than Folgers....

*wonders how the large lump on the back of the head occurred*

I was also very shocked to be asked. Who would have thought the Ruler of Middle Earth would have ever been made a Mod. Golum is going to be happy.
