Chavez: Colombia Plotting Attack Against Venezuela

www.foxnews.com

President Hugo Chavez on Friday accused neighboring Colombia and the United States of plotting a military "aggression" against Venezuela.

"I accuse the government of Colombia of devising a conspiracy, acting as a pawn of the U.S. empire, of devising a military provocation against Venezuela," Chavez said.

"A military aggression is being prepared," Chavez added, saying that Washington aims to "oblige us to respond, and later a war could be set off."

Chavez is a nut job. This is just some more of his propaganda to use against the US.

I agree Chavez is a nut job. The US is focusing our attention on our own economy and no one here would even be thinking about Chavez if he stopped spouting off so much.

Chavez at a first glance appears to be a fruit loop but these laughable accusations are designed to take the people of Venezuela attention away from his failed domestic policy's . Price Controls have lead to food shortages in Venezuela.
Castelli started the Falklands War to keep the people of Argentina minds away from front while Chavez ranting wont backfire so spectacularly he is using the same political trick.

Well, Colombia stalled foreign relations after Chavez got involved with the FARC hostage negotiation's (which resulted in them being freed).

He is no threat to America so I don't see why Washington gives him attention or trys to paint him as a new Fidel Castro. It's only because he is trying to create a mini-socialist union in Latin America, but there is no chance of it spreading to Mexico or even the United States (or even spreading to certain countries like Brazil or Colombia)

So, no need to worry.

Let's not forget the poor in Venezuela can now read, write and have free health care cause of Chavez. And the poor in the West get cheap oil from him! I get cheap bus tickets in London cause of Chavez
