If a commentary thread were authored in the debate forum, only fighters would be able to respond. Adding another forum causes extra server load, so I don't see that happening. (But submit a suggestion if one desires) However a simple commentary thread in the debate forum would be what you're looking for. Only fighters can contribute.. but it would be public for all to see.

And fighter commentary should be an elitist deal...as far as contribution is concerned.

If you want to talk...get a fighter tag and give us a reason to listen...

That's actually what I was talking about... Sorry I wasn't clear... MemoryShock has me all befuddled in the debate..

Just a nice thread where we as debaters, can gather and have fun, discuss past debates, future debate titles and generally irritate each other...

As only "Fighters" would be allowed to post, I see it as serving a two fold function.

1. A place for us specifically as fighters.
2. Attractive to other "nonfighter" members and an incentive to become active in the debates.
