Well first off its called Pop. And some people call it tonic. So it varies upon ones personal preferance. In the south people like to call it Soda.
But to me a Soda is like a drink that has icecream in it! Like an orange soda pop, or root beer soda pop. But stuff like Cola is just pop.

how do you prefer your soda and why?

I prefer my Soda Pop with Captin Morgan?
Why becasue Im an alcoholic !

When Im not drinking I like icecream in my soda, becasue it reminds me of when I was a kid.. And those days when we only put mustard on our hotdogs.. Kids these days and their ketchup.. hmmphh.

Edit to Add: Sorry Again!!!

*Walks swiftly away*

Funny you should mention that. That's exactly what I did last night(Gibson's Finest and Appleton Reserve) and this morning(Not coming in today Boss).

Canned soda for me please.

Plastic bottles reek, giving the beverage a plastic taste, and glass bottles' lips are always too small to let the yummy goodness inside flow freely.

I don't trust fountain soda. I always seem to get there just as the syrup is running low and all I get is somewhat soda-flavored seltzer.

So...Fountain, of course...Da

I actually enjoyed your debate LDragon/SkyFloating. It was a bit corrolative to Sublime's debate with moi, so that added to my interest level....

Though I am a bit miffed at you for providing Sublime with the quote.......kidding of course.

I did forget to star, but I suppose I can give it a more thorough read and star it up....I should do that for the other debates as well...

And welcome zysin!!

ERRONEOUS!

I specified in my opening statement that it could be called soda OR pop. Changing the subject are we?! A clever trick, but no clever enough...

So it stands that I like soda, or POP, from a glass bottle and Gary likes fountain POP.

PS Zysin, I am TOTALLY kidding - I hope that is obvious...

Why not a "Coke"? I've got a friend down in Arkansas. He explained what it was like down there.

"You want a Coke"?

"Sure."

"What kind you want"?

"Root beer."

That sounds about right. Here in New England there are three spices and three spices only:

1. Salt
2. Pepper
3. Katsup

I consciously watched the mouse arrow move over the 'Reply To' space in your post, zysin5, and then waited a few seconds to make sure it didn't change...

Sigh...I found your original quote in another window....So I can actually fix it.......

It will be back in a few...and their it is...if I had thought to look for it sooner, I could have saved myself the embarrassment of confessing publicly....

That's how it was when I lived in Atlanta. We didn't say soda, pop, or anything like that. We called 'em all coke.
