Should I post my rebuttals latter in the day? Would that work better for you? the 24 hour time window is difficult to keep up with sometimes especially when you have a life outside of ATS. I work at night so I can virtually post at any time during the day. If there is a time that would be better for you to have me post let me know I am definitely willing to accommodate for the sake of a good debate. (not saber rattling or sarcasm)

I think I'll manage...if there ever is a huge problem I'll use an extension, and in that instance it would be to just gain a few hours....I usually am quite prompt. I can't help it....when I am involved in a debate, I usually can't think about anything else.

Example: I wrote about half of my response during lunch and ate when I went back to work...

I'll stay here after work hours to insure that it gets up by this evening PST...I currently have no life outside of ATS...

Just a reminder, if your opponent is late, you have the right to simply proceed, although you also have the option of attempting to contact your opponent first to see whats up. There won't be official mod time-keeping unless there is a dispute.

Two missed posts is still a Disqualification.

I haven't had the time to look in on the other debates, but I hope others are having the fun that I am. Sky and I are having a great debate and it's been really informative. I love the fact that I have been assigned a subject matter that I was not familiar with. Since beginning to research this concept, I have found myself enthralled and reading well beyond anything that applies to our debate.

As much fun as these are, these is much to be learned from a single debate.

Im having fantastic fun with the debates at the moment. Also the others...which I will not comment on until they are judged.

As readers and writers of the debates we are driven to think deeper and really learn an entire subject and to REALLY get our data straight.

'trep, you can move ahead with an openly reply now that the 24 hour window has expired. I guess technically dominusluciferi could move ahead with his first rebuttal. It's going to be a matter of who gets there first.

Actually, if dominus beats intrepid to the punch, it will be considered his opening statement rather than his first rebuttal, because a late post can still be made up until the opponent moves ahead.

dominusluciferi hasn't been around in a while, so if he doesn't log in soon there will be a summary disqualification for not logging in- Intrepid has given him ample time but we just can't hold up the tournament indefinitely.

Ok im done, I finished up my side of this debate with MemoryShock, now I have to go find some band aids for the paper cuts on my fingers from my dictionary.
