They are dripping with what YOU perceive as religion. It is fruitless to try to educate you in these matters as you do not have the requisite base knowledge to grasp the principles. You will not discover any satanic or alternative religions behind these curtains which you desire to pull back. What you are glimpsing are systems of High and Ceremonial Magik. To gain a glimpse of the true workings of these systems from outside the view of an initiate I recommend that you begin to study the works of Carl Jung, particularly those which deal with Archtypes, Synchronicity. and the Unus Mundus.

Pavlov, excellent recommendation. Start with C. J. Jung, and the reader will discover many new concepts.
