I too am against the use of nuclear weapons. Unfortunately for us, if the "global elite" are really the bloodthirsty tyrants described in this forum, I highly doubt any kind of protest by the masses will stop them from using whatever means necessary.
Nuclear weapons are an unfortunate by-product of nuclear power, which is a very important energy source for thousands of people. We cannot conceivably eliminate nuclear power yet, so nuclear weapons are here to stay
