MILWAUKEE (Reuters) - Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry won the backing of former rival Wesley Clark on Thursday, adding to his runaway momentum before next week's Wisconsin primary, but came under attack from Republicans looking ahead to November.

Republicans, already preparing for the general election race, launched a pre-emptive strike on Kerry, with Republican Party chief Ed Gillespie accusing him of planning "the dirtiest campaign in modern American politics."


Oh nooooooo! The Dems are unified...like Republicans!
They're fighting dirty...like Republicans!
They're gonna win...like, um well someone has to lose...like Republicans!

Dean had 14% support LAST week. Today he's quoted as saying EDWARDS would be a better President than Kerry. He's drowning and grasping at straws. His dissent is more like a splinter than disunity.

Come on, you know the record Dem vote has been phenomenal! Even in the South for Kerry. I still don't like him, but I'm not blind. Dems are unified to get Bush. Even the conservative pundits see it.
