Zorgon: did you draw the straight white lines yourself? I don't see them in the NASA picture.

These straight lines are more obvious IMO:

I'm sure creative use of smoothing + sharpening filters can make them look perfectly straight.

Oh, but this is favorite tactics of the proponents! Remember that YouTube video, where they drew a whole set of geometrical figure and lines over a lunar image and went over each "feature" with great fanfare and confidence. Amazing, simply amazing.

Are you going to retreat this nonsense post when Zorgon shows you the original nasa pic showing that rectangular feature / anomaly / whatever?

The user "nablator" posted same pic without lines, and proceeded to suggest that since Zorgon's pics do have a more pronounced lines, these could be an artifact of enhancing the Pixellated Blur (C) that this picture really is. Believers love Pixellated Blur. Can't live without it.

Yes. Worst. Paraeidolia. Evah.
Paraeidolia as an art form is ok. But some people will believe anything.

The best picture of this area south-west of Daedalus is available here. How did this pixelated mess transform into 4 perfectly straight lines in Zorgon's pic? Congrats Zorgon, you're an artist.

I'm a firm believer in Pixellated Blurâ„¢. Nothing wrong with it. The lines in Zorgon's pic OTOH are straight, sharp and fake.
