Comment on ATS Debates Here

Well I am ready for a challenge I don't quite understand how this tournament is geared. But I am all set for this and look forward to a great debate with any of these fine members and also looking forward somewhat to a rematch with Semper.

I'm ready to make my closing statement, as soon as GUNSINWAR has made his post.

This is a bit out of my area, but I've done my best.

Any progress on the judging of Chissler and my debate yet?

I thought it was a good debate....

I actually thought you had the easier position semper - although you still did a masterful job, as did chissler.

Congratulations to you both.

My debate with Sublime620 is done - I thoroughly enjoyed it and thank my opponent for a great debate.

I've finally given my Closing Statement to my debate with TLomon.

I've got to tell ya...Thank God it's over.

I was very envious that TLomon got the 'Pro' side, as there was a HELLUVLOT of evidence to support his stance. Me? I got stuck with the 'piddlies'.

As well as the fact, that I support his stance.

It was hard for me to be forced in this way, to come out of one's shell, and support the other side.

I can hear ALOT of you saying to me: "Welcome to the wonderful world of Debating!" Thankyou kindly.

This has been an extremely learned basis on my part; forcing myself to see past 'biases' in every stretch.

I've learned to encompass 'alternative reasonings', and embrase my written critique with new-found desire. I've opened up a new can of worms....and I like it ALOT!

I have much to learn when debating in a positive constructive style, and I don't fault myself too much, at this point in time. This is however, my first debate 'ever', on ATS. Give me some slack.

Spectacular debate...to both Tlomon and TheDuckster.....

...TheDuckster....you did a great job. I wish I could say more at this point, regarding my opinion of your style, but the verdict isn't in yet and I do not want to sway.......

Suffice to say....I would not want to face either of you in the tourney....

On a side note...this tournament is going to provide some of the best ATS reading...

I was hoping to get another quick practice match.

Sublime620 and I finished our debate on the 7th, and I was hoping for another match - but I couldn't.

Still, never mind - it should be looked at as a bonus, that we even have a debate forum and good people willing to run it.

Finished with the debate between LDragonFire and myself. It was a great, fun debate. I am so looking forward to the results. I assume that it will take some time because of the list of debates. I have to congratulate my opponent LDragonFire for his part in this debate. Great stuff there LDragonFire I salute you.

I've been waiting for well over a day and a 1/2 for my opponent -Animal to post in our debate thread Here

If something new has happened, please direct me to the correct threads.

I haven't heard from TheVagaBond for awhile. I've U2U'd him as to the current situation, as well as other Moderators -via U2U.

Uh Folks? I'm kinda stuck in Limbo at this point.

Nobody has let me know up til this point in time, if there is to be a 'possible' time extension needed.

For those to tell me 'to have patience', the time has come and gone.

I don't want to see my debate against Animal to be forfeited in this way.

What is going on?
