This was discussed in some depth in a recent thread.
This, however is new - there have been indications before that western forces in Iraq simply didn't care about civilian casualties, but this is the
first time I have come across allegations from ex-Iraq vets that civilians were deliberately targetted, rather than just being in the way.
There are many accounts and sources which state that casualties are anywhere from the 70,000 range to over 1 million.
My stance is that even 1 innocent death is too many.
I understand that sometimes it is unavoidable, but I feel that the greatest of care should be taken to ensure that innocents are protected, and this
does not seem to be the case.
In fact, according to this article the opposite is true.
