lokishammer.dragon-rider.org... <- That link right there explains what this is. The video is indeed of Earth at a distance. The video posted up is the result of inaccurate research and bending. Half the time they say the astronauts talk and then the narrator talks over them.

This rots and smells. Sorry. Your video proves nothing.

Also a note: Opening a camera Iris up, the window would indeed shine at a distance from Earth. Considering how cloudy earth is...reflective light. Closed Iris may have been done to counter that and get a good image. I know I've done similar when it comes to dark rooms, with windows, etc.

Do you know what i think ? I think the debunkers try to wave away all the claims by one clear answer....

For example : the shaddows doesn't have to point to the same direction because of different hights......yeah right......WTC7 came down by itself.

Here's a post by ATS member jra from about a year or so ago about this subject. This should put this to bed.

In this post is a still taken from the video of what the video producers claim is only a portion of the Earth taken through a window while the astronauts are in low Earth Orbit (LOE). This image of the Earth is in the video from 8:35 to 8:39.

There is also a second photograph taken with a still camera at about the same time the video was taken. This second photo VERY CLEARLY shows the whole Earth, its continents and the exact same cloud formations seen on the video still. One could easily make out entire continents -- which is something you could not do from LOE. There's no way that film was made in LOE.

That one photo alone debunks this film.

That is from the film "A funny thing happened on the way to the moon"... If you've not seen the whole thing, you really should. It has some very interesting arguements worth watching. It definitely left me wondering.

Oh, but the soviets were in on the super-double-secret conspiracy with the Illuminati Jews from the Center of the Earth. We went to the moon, We totally went there and that's a fact. I live in the city full of the descendents of scientists that worked their tails off to get us there. Silly documents and pictures of edited pictures aren't disproving any of the hard science and physics that came out of the rocket program. Van Allen belt: we survived it. The astronauts were examined for rad. and bio. sickness and quarantined though and the trailers that they were put in for several weeks were later scattered throughout Alabama and other southern states after they were used. Don't get me started on the flag "waving in the breeze on the set". Honestly, people go from instance to instance of images of things they don't understand and think that one thing they don't understand allows them to jump to conclusions that something that did happen, in fact, did not happen at all.
Haha, everything's a conspiracy for some people. Honestly, if half of this garbage was true, people's heads would be exploding left and right from the sheer silliness. Honestly, its like their bored with living and thus make conspiracies so they can feel like Neo, when in reality it's all just baloney and hogwash that fuels these crack theories. No, I am not going to answer retort posts because people will nitpick and though anyone could respond to nitpicking, it isn't conducive to sound argument or treatment for the terminally conspiracy-obsessed. I am on these forums for the concepts of the future and what may come to pass, not deliberation and insulting the work of brave men and women, some good, some bad. Stop kidding yourselves that oblivion is our soon to be destiny. That just isn't how things are and is improbable garbage.

Well, I tell ya, I tend to believe the evidence of the Lunar Surface Journal and the overwhelming scientific data over some weak conspiracy theory. As with any NASA mission there are thousands of people employed as contractors anyone could step forward any disclose any foul play. I do not see that happening. To the contrary, there is evidence that these people are debunking the hoax theory. Take a look at this information concerning communication and telemetry. In addition, would NASA really have faked 6 missions to the moon?? It wasn't just a single trip. Then went back 5 more times.

Furthermore, in the next couple of month NASA is launching LRO (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) which has as part of it mission objective... to photograph all six lunar landing sites, as well as debris left (rover, LM launch platform, etc) left behind during these missions. Now if NASA had faked the lunar mission, then why would they send reconnaissance? You think they would expose themselves? The hoax theory simply does not make any sense to me.

It was approx 10yrs from the time the soviets launched sputnik til the US launched Apollo. In that time, there was major developments in ballistic missile technology during the cold war. Do you think that the Soviet had the ability to track missile trajectory?? They would have certainly called our bluff if this had been low earth orbit trickery. Think about it.

Concerning this bit about the Van Allen Belt..

The Van Allen radiation belts extend from about 600 miles up to more than 40,000 miles from Earth with the region of highest radiation intensity being between around 2,000 miles and 12,000 miles above Earth. The astronauts exposure to those radiation belts is brief (less than 4 hours total - they begin their time in this region while traveling at 25,000 MPH! And they pass through it twice, once outbound, and again on their return. They spend less than an hour in the densest part of the belt.) and they are well protected in their spacecraft. Here is a link to a webpage that describes the radiation environment and physiological effects on the Apollo astronauts.

Also, the belt is toroidal in shape (like a donut) and the trajectories of the Apollo spacecraft were designed to avoid the worst part of the Van Allen belts. Even the discoverer of the Van Allen belts, Professor James A. Van Allen, has noted that the belts would not have been dangerous to the Apollo astronauts given their trajectories and their spacecraft.
