A draft UN Security Council resolution seeking fresh sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme is imminent, a French diplomat has said.

Foreign ministers of the five permanent Security Council members - the US, UK, France, China and Russia - plus Germany, meet in Berlin on Tuesday.

Why on Earth is Russia involving itself in sanction on Iran if Russia has been supplying help with Iran getting its nuclear power going?

Very odd.

They are doing a lot towards Iran yet very little towards what Israel is currently doing.

The US is already on a trade embargo with Iran. There's not really much more damage we can do.

China is not going to stop trading with them, let's be honest. And I doubt Russia would actually follow through with what they signed in the first place. They make too much money off them. Plus they're good friends .
