Was it me seeing things?

I live in LA California I was kinda freaked out when my mom was driving and I saw a round shape craft of some sort that was floating far away. I felt kinda embarrassed to tell my mom "Hey stop the car it's a UFO I think! " So I kinda just saw it I really couldn't tell if it was really a UFO. I just saw that it was round with a red blinking light it was kinda big and there were many airplanes flying around in different directions.
So did anyone see a weird object that lives around the area? Or was it just me seeing things? I didn't take pictures or video because my parents were driving at a fast rate couldn't really distinguish the object.

Call LAX see if they picked up any contacts on radar at that time. They should be able to tell you if they saw anything anomalous. That's all I can offer to this.
