1, is there a written english translation of the turkish voices heard on the film? what is their explanation and details ..otherwise its anyones guess without info by the witnesses
who took this video

where ,time,size estimation etc........

2,if this is evidence then childish analysis and comments dont help clarify.......

very easy to say something like "its a hubcap from a lada!!!!"

but ......if true we may be on the verge of an incredible and human wake up call!
it seems this is happening more and more?!

Looks too much like a cylon figher from the original 'Battlestar Galactica' series to me, Not saying thats its hoax straight away , but I'll reserve judgement till ALL the evidence comes to light.

Here we go again with the ignorance, why are you not discussing the witnesses? why are you picking on silly things like the time being wrong? you can't seriously hope to counter the claims of these professionals because of that?

This is why there are so many problems, people scream for evidence, they get some backed up by some of the top people in their field, and you start picking on silly little details which are obviously irrelevant compared to the footage.

There are acceptable reasons for the time stamp being as it is, this just seems like a bad attempt at debunking.

I think people are just running out of excuses to shout hoax all the time, face it this one has almost everyone stumped, making daft claims will just leave you behind as everyone else tries to move forward.

Stop claiming that it is everyone else is at fault and accept the evidence for once, you have your evidence deal with it.

I'm sure all your questions will be more than adequately answered in due course.

Understand what you're saying, and I agree to an extent that merely finding problems with a video doesn't in itself debunk it. As I said in another thread, I believe that the true skeptic is our friend in our quest for UFO evidence. I personally believe in the existance of "others" and their craft. I carry my camera EVERYWHERE, just in case I can be one of the lucky few to get footage.

That said, I cannot figure out how any camcorder or camera I've ever owned could "accidentally" get these datestamp anomalies. Not only do they span a two month period, but they are also out of temporal order:

In order as it appears on the video:

4:50 P.M. JUL 30
4:46 P.M. AUG 1
4:00 A.M. AUG 2
5:07 A.M. AUG 7
5:13 P.M. AUG 9
4:20 P.M. AUG 10
5:11 P.M. AUG 12
1:44 P.M. AUG 24
4:03 P.M. AUG 24
5:12 P.M. AUG 12

Curious, to say the least, as is the lack of any frame of reference. I think the videographers would've had a better response if they'd have left out the "visible alien" speculation, however I can't confirm that the videographers were the ones that put this label on it.

For the most part it is quite obvious what is going on with this clip...

Its a dinner plate sticking out over the edge of a table.

How this this is being considered one of the most important pieces of UFO footage ever I will never know

Hi all. Sorry I was away for a long time. If you have something that you want to be translated, send me link. It seems this video is popular again. I read that on 25th October this video will be discussed intensively in West York Conference. For me it is more like a spoon than an aircraft.

The shots were captured by night guard Yalcin Yalman in a compound in Turkey earlier this year.

The 42-year-old and a number of residents claim the UFOs were spotted over a four month period between May and September near the compound in Istanbul.

He said: I dont know what these things are. We filmed them several times and they are totally unknown to us. I was very excited when I saw them and I want the world to know that UFOs do exist.

Almost two-and-a-half hours of footage was filmed featuring a variety of objects ranging from incredible flying saucer-type 'craft' to clustering orb-like lights hovering in the night sky.

The clips were handed to the Sirius UFO Space Science Research Centre in Turkey who interviewed witnesses and painstakingly combed through the footage frame by frame.

International UFO researcher Haktan Akdogan said: "In this amazing video footage, physical forms of UFOs and their metallic structures are clearly noticeable.

"What is more important is that in the close-up of some footages of the objects, entities in them can be distinctly made out."

He continues: "We have spoken with all of the witnesses and had detailed analysis conducted on all two-and-a-half hours of footage.

"After conducting all of the analysis we came to the conclusion that this video footage is 100 per cent genuine.

"The objects filmed are structured objects and are not the result of misidentification or natural phenomena, aircraft or astronomical objects.

"They are not the results either of any kind of computer animation. Now is it a time for world governments to acknowledge the reality of UFOs."

He added: "The images captured on film are expected to have a tremendous impact throughout the world and they are the most important UFO images ever caught on camera."

The footage will be revealed at the UFO Data Magazine annual conference in Pontefract, West Yorks, on October 25.

And it has earned the seal of approval from British experts.

UFO Data Magazine editor Russell Callaghan said: "This video footage from Turkey, if authentic, represents a serious challenge to science. I can honestly say that this footage is truly unique."

Funny how as camera technology has got more advanced the ufo photos/video's have not got any clearer.

The Istanbul sighting is an important one for many reasons. There are over 12 witnesses, including Dr. Roger Leir who have been able to substaniate the video. A serious attempt to debunke the video has been done bye several well known photographic experts. So far nobody has been able to demonstrate that the recordings are product of tricks or some type of manipulation. I am not endorsing this case, but I simply feel that those who seek the truth in ufology need to put this in their notes and file this case.

This case developed in the location of Kumburgaz between the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. Its main witness was a night guard named Yalcin Yalman, while on duty who registered on video these strange objects that appeared at sunrise like floating or changing while in flight over the sea coast of Marmara.

Many special effects/imaging experts tried to debunk the footage including: Prof. José Atenas, an expert in graphics and video, with more than 30 years of experience on television. Prof. phD. Zeki EKER Director National Council For The Study Of Science And Technology (TUBITAK) and National Observatory , and Mario Valdes- Santiago Chile. Other analysis were done by video specialists, image edition and special effect companies from Japan, Russia and Turkey, all ending up with the same conclusions that what is being filmed is reality and the video had not been tampered with.

Yalman Explains the Camera

Case Overview:
This case developed in the location of Kumburgaz, Istanbul between the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. The video was taken by a night guard named Yalcin Yalman. One singularity of this case was that the images were made with a camera that had an adaptor for close ups of 200X optical, achieving a great amount of detail of the objects. During this period several minutes of close range video were taken of metallic ufos floating or changing while in flight over the sea coast of Marmara. The curious thing is how they changed appearance into an outline of orange globes. As you overlay both the shape seems to match each other.

This case made big news in Turkey and in other countries as well. It also started a great debate between the official members of the Turkish scientific community. Other analysis were done by video specialists and special effect companies from Japan, Russia and Turkey, all ending up with the same conclusions that it remains unexplained. In Chile, professor José Atenas, an expert in graphics and video with more than 30 years of experience on television, was asked to technically examine the videos. In his appreciation, José Atenas also came to the same conclusions that the images are authentic. So far nobody has been able to demonstrate that the recordings are product of tricks or some type of manipulation. Therefore, the debate has concentrated more over the nature and origin of the objects filmed by Yalcin Yalman.

During 2007 the first video was taken on a beach on the coast of Istanbul. The lack of background and horizon made it difficult to verify one way or the other. What the witnesses needed to do was capture the horizonal reference point so the video can analyzed with greater detail on the exact location of the object.

In 2008, in what seems to be a regular occurance in Turkey alot of ufos were reported to Haktan Akdagan the chairman of Sirius UFO Research, Turkey's version of MUFON. Yalcin, who was still armed with his 200x optical lense camera kept a watch at a facility known as the "Yeni Kent Compound" located near the Sea of Marmara. The 2008 video includes video from the day and at night, however most of the footage was taken at night. Nobody has done an accurate measurement of the distance, however my rough guess is several hundred feet away. 2008 Original Video

During 2009 between May and June, several glowing objects and a metallic ufos were seen again by over a dozen witnesses hovering over the Sea of Marmara. Several credible people, such as Roger Leir, were at a ufo conference in Turkey at the time and happened to attend Yalcin to one of his video taping sessions. According to those witnesses who have come forward with their story they saw a ufo in the air that Yalcin was filming. They did not see any evidence of a staged prop, model, or a hoax. A 33 minute segment of the video starting at (night) 4:59 a.m., until after (sunrise) at 5:32 a.m., it becomes clear that we are looking at an object several hundred yards away in the horizon over the sea. This is important because some people, including myself, thought at first it could be a model or prop very close to the camera, but the object is a real authentic metallic ufo several feet away over the seat
Roger Leir is not a hoaxer.
On Coast to Coast Roger Leir said:

"it was two years in a row. I was there both times looking through the viewfinder of the camera. Now the camera was mounted on sticks and it had a 200 mil lense and an electronic dobuler so we were able to push very very close on the craft. Now just as a background the craft was lit by a moon that was very very bright in the sky and so that illuminated the exterior portion of the craft" "it was sent in an proven that it was not a hoax and what was being seen was reality"

At first, the videos were analyzed and made public by the SIRIUS UFO organization, directed by the researcher Haktan Akdogan. Sirius UFO Space Science Research Center firstly, spoke with all the witnesses separately then did the detailed analysis of the full footage of 2 hours 30 mn. long videos with the participation of the members of a science board. They enlarged the video images, did all the detailed analysis, checked their pixels, and went through the all footage frame by frame. After doing all the necessary analysis which went on for several weeks. SIRIUS released the following statement:

Haktan Aktagan, SIRIUS Space Research:
--"the objects sighted in the aforementioned footages that have a structure that is made of specific material are definitely not made up by any kind of computer animation nor are they any form of special effects used for simulation in a studio or for a video effect therefore in conclusion it was decided that the sightings were neither a mockup or hoax. And it is concluded that these objects in the sightings that have physical and material structures do not belong in any category such as; planes, helicopters, meteors, Venus, Mars, satellites, fire balls, Chinese lantern, fire balls, wheather ballons, natural or atmospheric phenomenon. etc. and but rather fall into the category of UFO’s. The incident went on several times intermittently before the very eyes of the residents of "Yeni Kent Compound", filmed by a night guard named Yalcin Yalman. The detailed analysis of a certain portion of these extraordinary videos showed that three different objects were captured at the same time."

The government sponsored National Council For The Study Of Science And Technology (TUBITAK) and National Observatory (TUG) got interested in analyzing the original footage, with the intention of determining that the video was nothing more than a hoax, gambling on the idea of scale models or toys, or CGI. The original tape was handed to the TUBITAK representatives on live TV in their own headquarters. Once the analysis concluded, they gave an official report, from which I took the following fragment:
"The objects observed on the images have a structure made of a specific material and definitely itís no any kind of CGI animation or in any means a type of special effects used for simulation in a studio or for video effects. So the conclusion of this report is that the observations are not a model, maquette or a fraud". At the last part of the report, it’s concluded that the objects observed have a physical structure and are made of materials that do not belong to any category (airplanes, helicopters, meteors, Venus, Mars, Satellites, artificial lights, Chinese lanterns, etc.) and that it mostly fits in the category of UFO’s (Unidentified Flying Objects and of unknown origin).

OK I have been reading this thread... and I have watched the footage that is on youtube .. I looked at the time stamps on the footage .. There is no darkness at 1:45 PM because there is no time stamp of 1:45 PM. All time stamps are in AM for the times between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM on all the footage. Unless they have decided to edit the footage and take out the areas mentioned .. the time stamps and day/night hours are all correct. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I see that some of the posts here are showing timestamps I have not seen in any of the videos. Am I missing some ?? he he prolly. Anyway I was just thinking that the shape of that ufo looks a lot like the shape of the recent "discovery" in the Baltic ocean by OceanX.
